An early 20th century unmarked yellow metal green enamel and rose cut diamond lapel watch, by Le Roy & Fils, central full Dutch rose cut diamond measures approx: diameter 6.73mm, depth 3.45mm, white enamel dial with painted Arabic numerals, watch suspended from a matching unmarked yellow metal green enamel and diamond ribbon bow brooch fitting, case diameter 25mm, overall height 61.5mm, working orderExcellent overall condition, all stones are present, enamel has small abrasions and blemishes all over through general handling along with a few surface chips to the bow brooch but no major losses through to the base metal, diamonds are bright and white with mostly clean facet faces and sharp facet edges and only a couple of tiny surface chips visible through a loupe, central rose cut has a couple of tiny internal black spot inclusions but they are hard to find even with a loupe along with one small internal fracture but the stone is very stable, settings are lightly abraded all over through general handling, there is small evidence of solder on the back of the brooch fitting where the curled wire for the dog clip meets the fitting, but this is quite insignificant, bezel has a few light dents and abrasions, dial has several hairline cracks around the edge but they are underneath the frame when the case is shut, hands adjust smoothly and watch is working, a very pretty watch with a statement stone.
