An Honourable Artillery Company Officer's Spadroon, of 1796 pattern, with 81cm single edge fullered steel blade, the brass stirrup hilt with oval half hinged guard, flat angular shaped crossguard and knuckle bow engraved with husk borders and lozenge rosettes, the urn shaped pommel faintly engraved with HAC lion, with silver wire bound grip and modern black leather scabbard with brass locket and chape,The blade has deep pitting and grey patching to the surface, with nicks to the edge. The brass hinged guard has a broken steel spring. The scabbard is later.
A Copy of a 17th Century Cup Hilt Rapier, with 93.5cm double edge double fullered steel blade, whirl pierced steel cup hilt, square section long crossguard, open ended knuckle bow, wire bound grip and facetted baluster pommel, with steel mounted black leather scabbard, 115cm; a Very Similar Copy Rapier, with elliptical pierced steel cup hilt and steel mounted leather scabbard with frog, 115cm; a Copy of a 17th Century Main Gauche, with 32.5cm shortened wavy back steel blade, steel hilt with pierced curved guard cast with putto, long crossguard, wire bound grip and foliate cast pommel, with leather scabbard, 52cm; a Similar Copy Main Gauche, with plain curved steel guard and leather scabbard, 55cm (4)Some rust pitting to metal. One Main Gauche with shortened blade, the other with shabby scabbard.
A Victorian 1853 Pattern Cavalry Trooper's Sword, the 86.5cm single edge broad fullered steel blade with traces of inspector's stamp, the steel three bar hilt engraved SND 33 and later painted gilt, with chequered black leather grip scales, the black painted steel scabbard engraved SN/D33 at the locket and with two suspender rings, 103cm; a 19th Century Continental Sword, with 64cm fullered steel blade, brass hilt with lion head pommel and wire bound fishskin grip, lacks knuckle bow and scabbard, 74cm (2)1 - Pitting and wear to blade, wear to chequering on the grip scales. Small split to inner guard. Rust pitting and dents to the scabbard. There is a piece of metal missing from the mouth of the scabbard.2 - Deep rust pitting to blade. Hilt fittings loose.

A circa 1900 silk satin hand embroidered and hand beaded two-piece day dress, the top with three-quarter length sleeves and corseted camisole with diamante buttons, the back with large bow, the barrel skirt with embroidered yoke panel and fishtail back, approx. 42 cm under arm to under arm, approx. 60 cm at waist CONDITION REPORTS The top is in pieces and appears to have had some alterations. The lining is heavily ripped and basically destroyed, including the lace work although the buttons are intact. Bust size approx 36" however due to the damage may be different. Visible signs of moth. The skirt waist is approx 23". Skirt also has evidence of old moth and pupae marks. There is a visible line of stitching possibly where it has been altered at some point.In a very fragile condition with wear and tear conducive with age, use and attic storage with items that have significant moth damage. A modern Vietnamese limed oak effect bedroom suite comprising bow fronted chest of three short over a bank of four longer drawers, 165 cm wide x 46 cm deep x 102 cm high, a pair of matching bedside chests of two drawers, 68.5 cm wide x 43.5 cm deep x 70 cm high, a serpentine top mirror, 108 cm wide x 107 cm high and a double bedstead, approx 224 cm long x 206 cm wide x 160 cm high (5) CONDITION REPORTS Overall as with the rest of the suite, the piece seems to be in good condition throughout. The bed in particuar consists of headboard, footboard and two side panels which support the slats. There appear to be four slats but unfortunately no mattress as the mattress did not comply with 1988 Soft Furnishing Regulations (UK), therefore is illegal for sale in this country. There are, however, signs of some wear and tear conducive with use and some small areas of staining which may, or may not be, removable with cleaning. The large chest has some paint loss to the left hand pillar and a smaller area of paint loss to the right pillar but otherwise appears sound. See images for further detail.
