Large Celtic Brooch. Circa, 8th -5th century B.C. A one piece penannular type brooch that originated from what is now Italy. The piece has a thick bow that tappers to its ends, one terminating with a flat catch plate and the other a coiled spring and long pin. The bow is finely decorated with a series of engraved bands.
