Good Victorian figured walnut mirror crested bow front credenza, with oval mirror plate raised between scrolls, enclosed by pair of glazed doors with flanking open shelves raised between carved C-scroll bracket and spiral-turned columns, on bulbous knopped turned feet and brass capping and castors, the castors stamped 'Cope & Collinson'
Late Victorian six piece silver and tortoiseshell dressing table set, comprising two pairs brushes, hand mirror and comb with inset silver garland and bow decoration, in a fitted case (Birmingham 1899), maker - C. Bros., mirror 7.5cm overall length CONDITION REPORT General overall condition good. Silver mounts are good, some surface scratching and minor denting. Inlaid decoration is undamaged. Tortoiseshell has no visible damage other than minor surface marks and scratching. Comb is chipped at both ends and some teeth silver inlay has lifted. Hallmarks have some rubbing but clear. Case interior is dirty and tired. Hinge covering and cover struts are broken. Exterior is reasonably good, some scuffing and wear to gold decoration. Fasteners are tarnished, one is damaged. Fall-front hinges very stiff
Victorian gold plated keyless chronograph pocket watch with white enamel dial, centre seconds sweep hand and two subsidiary dials, 5cm diameter, on plated chain (2) CONDITION REPORT Very good condition. Currently running although we cannot guarantee the accuracy of its timekeeping. The stop watch function would appear to work correctly. The case has a dent at the back near the top as a result of the bow / loop touching the case. Plating in very good condition
