ORDER OF NICHAN AL IFTIKHAR A jewelled Commander's Cross. Breast Badge of the type awarded under the rule of Muhammad anNasir Bey (1906-1922): alternately red and green enameled ten-pointed star in gold, flanked by silver beams, 12.3x60 mm (incl. ribbon ring), completely set with brilliants of different size, green enameled centre medallion with the brialliants-set sovereign's monogram within an outer circlet, also set with brilliants, hinged, upper bow enriched with brilliants, same as the long, ribbon ring, with original neck ribbon with ties, the link ring and the reverse of the ribbon ring, struck with French silver marks. A beautiful and very rare piece of the "Mourrassa" (with jewels) division of this Order, destined to prominent personalities only, extremely fine condition. I RR!
Silver Bene Merenti Medal for Military Merit Round medallion with the busto f Pope Benedict XV facing right, 50x32 mm, surrounded by the inscription "BENEDICTUS XV PONT. MAX." and below, right, the maker's signature "S.J." (Stefano Johnson, Milan), within a separately-made laurel wreath with green enameled leaves and orange-red enameled berries and the bow tying the branches, the reverse with round medallion, bering the motto "BENE MERENTI", and the wel-lvisible, 4 thin tubes with inserted pins, mounting the medallion to the wreath, rectangular upper loop and finely chiselled Trophy suspension, large, round ring and original ribbon. An extremely rare decoration, very fine condition. The Medal for Military Merit was the highest honour besides the Orders, given to Officers of the armed corps in defence of the Holy See, first instituted by Pope Gregorius XVI after the Napoleonic wars, then renewed by each subsequent Pope, until Paul VI. Army Officer’s Swords with scabbard, WW II The hilt is of brass. The gilt is worn on the normal handhold places. The sword features a motif of oak leaves and accorns which run from the pommel down the back strap and are continued on the flat knuckle bow surfaces, the ferrule has an oak leaf sprig motif, the cross guard features a langet with Wehrmacht style eagle, the grip is black celluloid over wood base, with filigree wire, blade length 90 cm, steel scabbard, black painted. Very good condition. Germany manufacture: Alcoso Solingen (stamped on blade) and marking mark. Rare! I- R!

The sword features a motif of floral which run from the pommel down the back strap and are continued on the flat knuckle bow surfaces, the ferrule has an oak leaf sprig motif, the obverse guard features an open-winged Army eagle which looks to the viewer's left, the grip is in aluminum black painted (partial original paint), with filigree wire, the lion’s head with stones “red eyes”. Blade length 90 cm, steel scabbard, black painted. Good condition. Germany manufacture: E. Pack & Solingen (stamped on blade). Rare! II R!
