Lot 2030

Six 1950s and 1960s Steiff Mohair Plush Animals, comprising standing zebra, 25cm high; 'Rocky' the mountain goat, with felt ears and horns, 15cm high; 'Snobby' the jointed poodle dog, with red collar, 14cm high; 'Mopsy' dog, with turned head and orange tongue, 14cm high; Bambi fawn, with velvet body and mohair chest (with paper tag), 13cm high; and 'Hansi' the sleeping floppy rabbit, with peach bow around neck and stitched pink nose, 20cm long (6). All lacking metal ear tags with the exception of Snobby and Hansi (however yellow fabric part of tag has been cut). All in playworn condition.

Circa 1920s and Later Wedding Dresses, comprising a cream floral printed silk drop waist dress, with long sleeves and V neckline appliquéd with flower heads; a 1930s dress in figured cream silk, skirt starts from a zig zag design at the hips, long sleeves, v-neck, lace trimmed, glass buttons to cuffs and matching belt; Kenilworth Model ivory brocade long sleeve wedding dress, round neck, buttons to the waist with pleats above, pleated long skirt and large bow to the reverse (size 36); similar style dress with scoop neck, long sleeves, wrap around train that sits like an open robe skirt; a cream dress with sweetheart neckline, with gathered vertical detailing to the bodice, full length and long train, multi buttons to the back (5) . Drop waist dress - 40'' bust, some very light and small spotting to the top, skirt and under one arm. Slight wear overall. 1930s dress - 36'' bust, most of lace missing to the v neck, two small stains under each arm, 1/2 p sized light brown mark to the skirt, slight wear overall. Kenilworth Model - 28'' bust, couple of black marks to the skirt, couple of areas to the bodice are slightly discoloured; similar dress - 34'' bust, couple brown marks to the back of the skirt are hidden by the train. Water mark to the hem of the train, couple of light brown marks overall, side seam coming loose near the waist. Cream dress sweetheart neckline - 33'' bust, couple of light marks to the dress, especially to the hem of the train, some buttons missing to the back and cuff.

Circa 1980s Valentino Boutique Pink Slubbed Two Piece Skirt Suit, the jacket with scoop neckline and decorative pink and gilt metal buttons, with faux slit pockets, together with matching faux wrap skirt (size 8); and Another Valentino Two Piece Skirt Suit, in leopard print slubbed fabric, comprising quilted effect jacket with tied bow to neckline above zip fastening and double breasted moulded metal buttons, with a matching pleated skirt (size 6) (2). Pink two piece - 32'' bust (jacket), 28' waist (skirt), some signs of wear and loose threads (mainly to waistband), otherwise good overall. Leopard print two piece - 30'' bust (jacket), 26'' waist (skirt), in good condition however more signs of wear than that of the pink suit, some thread pulls and a little bobbling. Small repair to re-attach bow and lacking an eye fastening in the same area.

Assorted Late 19th Century to Early 20th Century Evening Bags, including a small French gilt metal mounted bag, with metallic coloured beads, fancy link chain handle, white lining, 9cm by 12cm; two similar 1930s black suede and black and brown suede purses, with double scalloped flaps edged with steel beads, both with miniature purses in a similar style, 17cm by 10cm; grey velvet evening bag with decorative silver bead bow to the front, on a hexagonal hinged mount embossed with Dutch scenes, fancy chain link handle, pale blue lining, 26cm by 18cm; black bead and sequin evening bag on a white metal mount with embossed decoration to one side, filigree and enamel to the reverse, chain handle, black lining, 13cm by 19cm; French black and yellow bead evening bag, with gilt metal mount and chain handle, 16cm by 12cm; three similar bead purses, two are decorated overall with beads and the other has steel beads on a black grosgrain base (9) . Gilt metal purse - tarnishing to the beads and some stitched repairs. Replacement lining is stained. Two 1930s purses - some fading to suede. Some of beads loose and tarnished. Dutch grey velvet purse - some discolouration to the beaded bow and bead losses. tarnishing to mount, possibly replacement catch and lining. Black evening bag - mount impressed with indistinct stamp by clasp. Painted decoration possibly added later, and fabric part of bag later than clasp. Stitched repairs to the fabric near the mount. Black and yellow bead bag - ok condition. Three bead bags - all have had some small stitched repairs and bead losses.
