A British post 1805 naval officer's sword, early 19th Century, the 32in. (81cms) long fullered blued blade with gilt decoration of war trophies, crest, anchors and maker's mark, looks to read "Robertson, Strand", fitted bow lacquered brass knuckle guard and wire-bound ivory grip under a lion mask pommel (no scabbard), 36 1/2in. (93cms) long overall.
