A 19th century mahogany bow-fronted chest of two short over two long drawers, with bone escutcheons and brass ring handles, on outswept bracket feet, 95 x 125 x 61cm. CONDITION REPORT The top has various cup marks, water stains, ink stains, is sun faded and scratched. Overall a nice piece, a few knocks to the bottom of each drawer.

A rare set of ten First World War German puzzle postcards each individually numbered 1-10, the ten colour lithograph cards showing captioned representations of combat situations, the set ultimately combining to form a trumpeter wearing an Iron Cross, with printed inscription 'Weltkrieg 1914/15' within a Christmas or New Year laurel wreath tied with a bow in German national colours. Each card is used, written in a single hand in pencil by Kurt Wunderlich, a soldier of the 1st Kompanie 12th Jäger 32nd (Infantry) Division, possibly 12th Artillery Column. They are further stamped with black circular Feldpostampt Des XII (1.K.S) Armeekorps black circular postmarks dating from 7th November 1915 - 12th November 1915. The cards are all addressed to various members of the same family, including Paul, Rudolf and Anna Wunderlich; presumably relations of the writer.

Sir Frank Lockwood Q.C., c. 1905 (?), a uniface cast and chased brass plaque by Maude Schwabe, bust left with winged collar and bow tie, 132mm. Probably sometime cleaned, good very fine, rare £40-£60 --- Sir Frank Lockwood (1846-97), lawyer, Liberal MP for the City of York, 1885-97. In May 1895 he was lead counsel for the prosecution in the case of Regina v. Oscar Wilde. He was related to the medallist of this piece, Emily Henrietta Maude Schwabe, through his wife Julia Schwabe
