A substantial ceramic figure of a mounted warrior; the horse stepping forward with head erect and teeth bared; the rider in tight-fitting cross-over jacket and breeches, pillar-box cap with lozenge-shaped crest, the arms positioned to accept a bow and arrow. 16.7 kg, 66cm (26"). From a West Country, UK, collection; formerly in a Hong Kong gallery, 1990s; accompanied by a positive Kotalla Laboratory thermoluminescence report no.28CM180321; this lot has been checked against the Interpol Database of stolen works of art and is accompanied by AIAD certificate number no.10833-178522. Porsche GTS 4 PDK. 2011 Porsche 911/997 3.8 GTS 4, PDK - Attractive range of factory extras totalling +£14,000 at purchase - Odometer reading 108,000 miles - New engine fitted in 2017, totalling +£20,000 at purchase - Rare 911 model Ahead of the announcement of the 991, Porsche gave a final bow out to the 997 range with the introduction of the GTS essentially a sportier upgraded version of the Carrera S/4S. It was given a 3.8 Litre direct-injection engine producing over 400BHP with help from a power kit. To harness all this power, a 7-speed PDK system was added assisting the driving focussed experience that the 997 has to offer. In order to accompany the driving experience, the interior was fitted with alcantara sports seats and panelling from the GT3. This particular example has been treated to a large array of factory optional extras which include a full chrono sports pack, switchable exhaust, sports / sports plus settings and sunroof totalling over £14,000. More recently, the motorcar underwent a full engine replacement at 88,000 miles totalling over £20,000. All invoices and service history are neatly presented in the vehicles large history file. Original advertising poster for Amnesia nightclub in Ibiza, styled on James Montgomery Flagg’s iconic World War Two ‘I Want You For the US Army’ recruitment poster (which, in turn, was styled on Lord Kitchener's 1914 Your Country Needs You poster). Uncle Sam points directly at the viewer, dressed in a white top hat with blue stars, blue jacket and red bow tie, against a background of red and white stripes. Text underneath the image reads: I Want You For Amnesia 91 Ibiza - Jueves 4.07 American Party. Amnesia Ibiza was founded in the mid 1970s by Antonio Eschotado, and fast became one of Ibiza’s most influential clubs. During the 90s, Amnesia grew internationally - today, it has events in Croatia, London, Barcelona and has multiple awards. Very good condition, creasing, pin holes. Original vintage advertising poster for comedy clown show - Willy Hagenbeck presents: Noni, England's No. 1 Clown with his charming daughters Nita and Dody. The poster features a fun illustration of Noni in a black suit holding the neck of the violin in one hand and fiddle bow in the other, with his daughters portrayed as two little harmonicas looking at the fiddle body on the ground, yellow and white text set against black, red, and white background. Noni was born in Nice in 1893 and came from a circus family; his paternal grandmother Coralie Ducos was a star of the Cirque des Champs Elysees. He learned to play musical instruments and picked Grock the clown as his performance inspiration, becoming famous in British and Germanic music halls. He also performed in front of Queen Marie at the Royal Variety Performance. After their performance, the female artists at the Gala recieved a bouquet of flowers - upon finishing his number, Noni asked for his bouquet. Queen Marie was amused and offered him her own bouquet.
