An unusual Regency mahogany and inlaid bow fronted cellarette chest:, the crossbanded top decorated with ebony lines, having a fitted cellarette drawer to one side with a deep drawer to the other with interior tray and containing a single long drawer below, on ogee bracket feet, 94cm (3ft 1in) wide.
Richard & Co, an enamelled bow-sided French carriage clock: the eight-day duration movement striking the hours and half-hours on a gong with push button repeat of the last hour at will and having a platform lever escapement, the backplate stamped with the trademark of the maker Richard & Co, being the initials R & Co within an oval, the ivorine dial with stylised Arabic hour numerals, blued steel spade hands, filigree dial centre and a pierced and engraved gilt-brass mask, the brass case with barley-twist columns, bowed-sides and inlaid with champlevé enamel to both the top and lower frieze, height 21.5cm/18cm (handle up/down) * Biography; Richard et Cie of Rue de Bondy 32, Paris, founded in 1848 as Lemaitre & Bergmann, were one of the most well-known makers and retailers of clocks with a retail outlet opened at 24 Cannon Street, London in 1857.
A Victorian walnut, inlaid and gilt metal mounted breakfront credenza:, of small size and D shaped outline, bordered with boxwood lines and decorated with stylised foliate scroll designs, the top with an ebonised moulded edge enclosed by a central panel door with gilt foliate banding, flanked by an enclosed glazed cupboard of bow front outline to either side, between stiles headed with flowerheads, foliage and guilloche ornament, on short ebonised turned feet, 109cm (3ft 7in) wide.
A Bow porcelain patty pan and a Worcester First Period bowl: the form of typical circular form, the interior painted in blue with flowers and foliage within a fretted border, the exterior with three sprigs, circa 1765-75, 12 cm diameter, the latter blind moulded to the exterior with chrysanthemum within narrow blue borders, workman's mark to base. JOHNSTONE, DAWSON ST, DUBLIN & LONDON, characteristic gilt hilt with D-shaped knuckle bow, down turned shell guard applied with a crowned VR cypher within a clover leaf wreath, crown-shaped pommel, silver bullion wire bound grip, contained in its engraved gilt brass mounted black leather scabbard, complete with bullion knot, bag and silver bullion trimmed belt and buckle. A good Mid 17th Century English Gilt finished Dish Hilted Broadsword, 80.5cm blade incised in the short central fuller DERUNS, characteristic hilt composed of a dish with gadrooned decoration, extrusions from which support the quillons and knuckle bow all composed from slender rounded bars with faceted ovoids at the mid-points and terminals, characteristic elongated ovoid pommel with gadrooned decoration, wire bound grip with Turk's heads. Retains approximately 40% gilt finish.

An 18th Century French Smallsword, 81cm incurved triangular section blade decorated with scrolling foliage and floral displays, the shell guard pierced with geometric designs and scrolling foliage, D-shaped knuckle bow chased with scrolling foliage, spherical pommel pierced with holes in a geometric design, wire bound wooden grip. Tip lacking and grip wire loose.
An English silver hilted hunting hanger circa 1730, 56cm clean fullered blade, well defined silver hilt with down turned shell guard decorated with two panels of scrolling foliage flanking a central panel with a stand of arms, the latter repeated on the knuckle bow and pommel, gadrooned and reeded ebony grip, black leather scabbard with white metal chape. Hallmarked to the top of the knuckle bow, see page 281 of London Silver Hilted Swords by Leslie Southwick for similar examples.
