Celtic, La Tene brooches (4), including silver Iberian style with a vertical conical foot, high arched bow and sprung pin, looped around the brooch is a silver ring with overlapping terminals; large iron La Tene II one piece with coiled spring and returned foot coiled around the bow, 12.2cm long by 2.4cm high (similar to Hattatt 225); bronze La Tene II with twisted wire to secure the foot (similar to Hattatt 727); iron La Tene II with two rivets, possibly for attachment of beads [4]. Roman, Romano-British, Bronze brooches (3), late 1st to early 2nd century, including piriform with bilobed terminal, central rivetted stud containing red enamel; lozenge shape with four arms and a central boss (now missing) (cf. Hattatt 1001); disc with side lugs and two dolphins at one end, pin intact; flask with handle on one side, chain loop at one end, body is recessed for enamel, hinged pin complete (cf. Comprising: 1887 Jubilee Medal, clasp 1897 (PC C DIVn), 1902 Coronation Medal (PC K DIV). Medals loose ... Accompanied by a Metropolitan Police 1911 Coronation Medal awarded to PC W. LEADER. 68722 PC William Savage enlisted into the Met Police 29th October 1883 and retired in 1903. His medal entitlement is complete. PC Walter Leader enlisted in February 1911 and retired in 1935. He served with R ((Greenwich) and X (Kilburn)Divisions.
Attributed Order of a Member of the British Empire MBE (Civil Division Ladies) Medal. This example is attributed by the vendor to the classical pianist and composer Adelina de Lara OBE. A 2nd type mounted onto a Ladies bow ribbon. Now mounted into a small gilt glazed frame with professional card name plate of Adelina de Lara OBE. Adelina de Lara OBE classical pianist and composer was born in 1872 and died in 1961. She was appointed an Officer of the Order of the British Empire in 1951. Attribution is not confirmed by Bosleys.
German Third Reich MINIATURE boxed Mothers Cross 3rd Class by Wilhelm Deumer, Ludenscheid. Good bronze example with blue and white enamelled arms and central black enamel swastika awarded for bearing 4 or 5 children. Reverse with facsimile Adolf Hitler signature and L/11. Complete with its pinback ribbon bow and housed in its maroon LDO box of issue. VGC Instituted by Adolf Hitler on 16th December 1938.
German Third Reich Social Welfare Medal. A good silver plated example. The obverse with eagle and swastika superimposed on Geneva Cross; reverse with raised text Medaille für deutsche Volkspflege. Mounted as worn on ladies bow. Toned but generally VGC. Previous German Red Cross awards superseded by the German Social Welfare Decoration 1st May 1939.

All 11 volumes of An Essay Towards the Topographical History of the County of Norfolk by Thomas Blomefield printed for William Miller, Albemarle Street, London by W Bulmer and Co. Cleveland Bow, circa 1805. Recognised by scholars as being a culturally important works this 11 volume set contains numerous plates and fold out illustrations including a large fold out plan of the City of Norwich in Volume 3, a large fold out plan of Kings Lynn in Volume 8 and a large fold out plan of Marshland (The Fenland Map) in Volume 9. All volumes are part leather bound with marbled edges making a visually pleasing matching set in overall good condition with no detached covers or pages, showing some signs of age wear and some foxing.
