Good quality Edwardian mahogany inverted breakfront sideboard, the shaped moulded back with applied swag carvings and small integral display shelves, the base with two central drawers flanked by bow fronted panel doors, all with original brass ring handles, raised on square tapering supports with spade feet
A Fine French Louis XV Style GIlt Bronze Mantel Clock. The movement striking a bell and stamped Vincenti et Cie Medaille d'Argent and set in a black patinated globe with gilt Roman numeral hour counters and engraved serpent pointers. The globe surmounted by a pair of gilded lovebirds and festooned in garlands of flowers, raised on a pedestal of swirling clouds with Cupids bow and quiver of arrows to the base. The white marble D-ended base edged on gilt beading and terminating on toupee feet, 19½ ins (50 cms) in height.
A Pair of Late 19th Century Plum Pudding Mahogany and Ormolu Mounted Bedside Cabinets in the Louis XVI Style. The oval cabinets each having a brêche green marble top above a frieze drawer and bow fronted cupboard edged in wrythen beading and adorned with quartered rosettes to the corners. The pilasters mounted with paterae above pendant garlands of flowers, raised on stop fluted legs with spurs of bell-flowers rising up the flutes and united by on oval quarter veneered undershelf. The cabinet interiors lined in marble, 29½ ins (75 cms) hgih, 16½ ins x 13¾ ins (42 cms x 35 cms).
A Mahogany Pembroke Table. The oval top having a kingwood cross-banded border edged in stringing with two drop leaves on fly bracket supports. One end fitted with a bow front drawer; the other with a corresponding dummy drawer, standing on a square tapering legs edged in stringing and terminating on brass caps and castors, 28¾ins (73 cms) high, 30 ins x 39 ins (76 cms x 99 cms).
A Pretty Gilt Metal & Cut Glass Electrolier composed of three graduated rings of facet cut drops hanging on three knotted ropetwist rods emanating from a foliate cast ceiling rose, and having fluttering ribbon bow mounts to the largest top ring alternated with acanthus crests, 25 ins (64 cms) drop, 11 ins (28 cms) in diameter.
A Large & Impressive 19th Century Model of A Man of War Sailing Ship Circa 1815-1820. The three masted vessel complete with bow sprit, sails and intricate rigging. A 19th Century Overmantel Mirror with Neo-Classical Decoration. The cavetto moulded top adorned with a row of ball appliqués above three relief moulded frieze panels: the principle centre panel decorated with a group of young ladies dancing to a piper in landscape, and flanked by classical figures either side. The round bevel edged centre mirror encircled by a ring of flowers and foliage tied with a ribbon bow and flanked by rectangular mirrored side panels. The fluted pilasters with scroll capitals, 36¾ ins x 51 ins (94 cms x 130 cms).
A fern green silk velvet dress and coat, 1930s, the dress with leg-o-mutton sleeves with tight button wrists, draped at the waist to smocking on the hip, the matching coat with asymmetric single button fastening, also a black crepe evening gown, 1930s, with black sequin and bead detail to the yoke and draping to the waist, together with a black silk velvet evening cape, 1930s, by John K. Hubbard Ltd, Worthing, with scalloped collar and paste bow buckle clasp at neck. (4) CONDITION REPORT: Green dress and coat: fading and some stains, some separation at seams, small rips. Black dress: generally good with minor bead loss. Cape: generally good condition.
