Fine early twentieth century Belle Époque sapphire and diamond necklace, the principle oval mixed cut cornflower blue sapphire estimated to weigh approximately 8.66 carats, in millegrain collet setting with a raised pierced gallery and a border of calibre cut blue sapphires, within a quatrefoil lobed open-work frame of old cut diamonds, with a diamond set bow suspending a further pear-shape pendant drop, similarly set with pear cut cornflower blue sapphire, estimated to weigh approximately 3.50 carats, all in millegrain setting, suspended from diamond set bows on a trace chain. In original fitted tooled leather case, by Carrington & Co., 130 Regent Street, W CONDITION REPORT In excellent original condition. The diamond set bow linking the two clusters has a very small break and a couple of very small spots of solder - not lead solder but probably gold. No other repairs or alterations. The pendant measures approximately 75mm overall drop from the trace chain to the bottom of the pendant

A good early 18th Century gentleman`s silver pair cased verge pocket watch with "Sun and Moon" dial, by Williamson of Leverpool, the chased silver dial with single poker minute hand pointing to Arabic numerals, the hours shown in Roman numerals in half crescent, the dial centre with oval cartouche supported by mythical birds to the verge movement with ornate pierced and engraved watch cock and part back plate, and with rectangular baluster pillars, contained in plain silvery metal case and outer case (apparently unmarked, with case maker`s initials of "RL"), 58mm diameter (bow replaced and with old repair where fixed to case and winding hole with circular reinforcing panel) Note : John Williamson recorded working Liverpool early 18th Century, and with watch in Dennison Collection
