An 19th century mahogany bow fronted chest of two short over two long drawers, raised on bracket feet, 87 x 90 x 49cm (af). CONDITION REPORT There is heavy scratching an wear including staining, dulling, chips, dents etc to the top, further losses to the side of the carcass including split, patch repairs etc, the right hand side has a small trim missing form the top and there are splits to the veneer on the drawer front and further losses to the feet.

CONDITION REPORT Overall good condition throughout, with light signs of surface wear including minor crazing, light surface scratches, grubbing to the foot rim, etc. No other obvious signs of faults, damage or restoration.
A George III mahogany crossbanded and line inlaid bow fronted sideboard, with single frieze drawer flanked by pair of deep drawers, raised on square tapering supports, 88 x 122 x 59cm (af). CONDITION REPORT There is a later piece of thick glass on the top of the sideboard, both front corners have chips, below there is light surface wear commensurate with age which has been polished in,there is further splits to the veneer on the crossbanding , the right hand drawer front has a section of the crossbanded veneer missing and a further section on the trim panel below, the left hand drawer has damage to the crossbanding most of the way round with further split sna d patch repairs, etc, surface wear throughout the lower frieze and legs

Two 1930s True Crime titles in Youngman Carter & Esme Roberts designed dust jackets, comprising Roland Wild; 'The Jury Retires' and Albert Lieck; 'Bow Street World London: Robert Hale and Company', 1937 & 1938, first editions. Bow Street World is the Publisher's file copy. Both jackets designed by notable artists of the period, the prolific Youngman Carter, and Esme Roberts, who also designed several posters for London Transport. CONDITION REPORT Both are slightly foxed and musty, the jackets with loss and closed tears repaired to the reverses with small pieces of archival tape.

The locket having floral engraving throughout with an armorial crest to the centre. Bow hallmarked Birmingham 1969, locket unmarked but tests indicate 9ct gold. Weight 7.3g. Brooch measures 3.7cm wide, drop measures 4.2cm.

Date letters for 1907 and 1911. Together with a hallmarked silver powder pot on raised cabriole legs and inlaid silver bow decoration and a faux tortoiseshell and hallmarked silver clothes brush. Measures 17cm in length. Total weight 1167g.
