Imperial German Prussian Model 1889 Infantry Officers Sword with Dedication, good example of an 1889 model Prussian infantry officers sword with gilt folding eagle guard, plain pierced knuckle bow and steeped pommel. The top of the pommel engraved with initials. Grip retains the original wire binding and gilt cipher. Single edged blade with double fullers. Etched inscription “W Lauffhes s/l H Vofs Inf Rgt 167 – Metz 1908 – Inf Rgt 52”. Blade has early WKC makers trade mark to the base. Blade measures 74cms in length. Housed in its original black painted filed scabbard with single hanging strap ring fitting, some wear to the finish on the scabbard.

Slender single edged blade with etched decoration in the form of foliage, Imperial eagle and trophy of arms. Early style WKC makers trade mark to the base. Blade measures 77cms in length.

Double edged blade with central double fuller. Cipher to the base of the blade and further along “EISENHAUER GARANTIRT”. Blade measures 73cms in length.

Original grip retaining the wire binding. Leather and bullion sword knot / portopee attached to the grip. Housed in its original steel scabbard with single ring fitting. Slightly curved single edged blade with etching of foliage and trophy of arms. Blade measures 79cms in length. Small dents to the scabbard and blade dull.

Imperial German Presentation Cavalry Sword, good untouched example of the jawless type lion head pattern officers dress sword, with langet having crossed swords and lances within wreath. Knuckle bow with relief in the form of foliage, trophy of arms and Iron Cross. Original grip retaining the wire binding. Attached to the hilt is the original leather and bullion sword knot. Single edged blade with etched to both sides and spine. Presentation inscription in gothic script, “Dem sergeant Peter als besten berittfuhrer der 5 Eskadron Dragoner-Regiments Prinz Karl im Jahre 1899 (Kaiser Mauover)”. Other side of the blade etched with foliage. Blade remains in good condition. The sword knot shows wear and has been repaired in places. Blade measures 80cms in length. Housed in the original steel scabbard with hanging straps and sword belt.
