A Chanel enamelled clover leaf brooch, a pair of gold coloured shield shaped earrings and matching twin interlocked C brooch together with a chainlink brooch and further brooch with matching clip on earrings and a Chanel coin and ribbon bow tie CONDITION REPORTS All pieces appear in reasonable order and have come from the same private vendor, a lady of title and certainly I believe to be authentic, the ribbon has some fraying to the edges and the madallion to the centre with discolouration to one edge otherwise good.
A quantity of jewellery items, including an early 19th century miniature desk seal, with faceted and tapered citrine handle, the carnelian matrix engraved with the initials EA beneath a Baron's coronet and with fine decoration to the joint, 4.6cm high, a French Empire-style miniature ivory and gold picture frame, the tapered ivory mount with hexagonal gold frame to the glazed compartment over a scrolling bow design, further gold work to the foot and with amethyst back to the reverse access port, French control marks, a carved agate blackamoor pendant, with diamond-set eyes and gold suspension ring, 2cm high, an oval-shaped gold locket pendant, the hinged cover painted in enamel with a seated woman on a pearl-set chair with a child reading at her knees, glazed locket compartment to the reverse, 4cm high, and a case six shell and gold dress studs, the circular shell sections within black enamel borders and diamond-set cross to the simulated button holes
A full size German violin by Heinrich Th Heberlein Jr, marked Markneukirchen 1907, Stradivarius copy with label, the two-piece back 35.7cm, cased with a nickel mounted bow. Accompanying this lot is a sheet of information regarding an early owner of this violin being William Glynn Walters of Denbigh, North Wales, who was killed in action during WWI in 1916.
A French Mirecourt violin, labelled 'The Carrodus Violin No.247 Anno 1889', with two-piece back, length 36.1cm, with a silver mounted bow stamped W Herrmann and another bow, cased. CONDITION REPORT: Area of wear to the body. There is heavy wear to the edges of the body (see images). Overall heavy surface wear throughout.
A hollow cast bronze seated Buddha on double lotus base, height 35cm, a copper plated Japanese cigarette box with Western style figural panels in relief and a mahogany bow front table top chest of drawers (3). CONDITION REPORT: The Buddha is a zara, a modern piece, no signature, missing ball/orb, light wear and a very crude casting.

Shibayama shodana Japanese ivory,mother-of-pearl and lacquer detailed, decorated brown hardwood Shodana of rectangular design with planked top and standing upon a Chinese style bow legged base and fitted in three levels overall with cupboards with sliding doors, centrally with display shelves and two main cupboards with sliding and hinged doors and the lower ending with four drawers, all facings of cupboards and drawers richly decorated with high relief details with floral arrangements set in imitation hanging baskets and bronze vases, birds displayed perched upon flowering branches and centrally with a figural scene of three youths play acting as Samurai holding a trumpet, Yari lance and sword set against display unit upon which stands a floral arrangement set in a lacquer work vase imitating bronze. 125.5cm high x 96.5cm diameter x 38cm deep
Pale green jade figure of a seated Bodhisattva Chinese, 17th Century in flowering robes and wearing a Tibetan style tiara crown formed by three elephant like panels, above a bow tied skirt the bare chest bears a ruyi pendant necklace, the left leg raised with the foot resting upon a lotus flower and rock, on a modern wood stand shaped as a seat 8.75in x 21.5cm high Provenance: the late Peter O'Toole (1954-2012) collection
