A LATE 19th CENTURY FRENCH VIOLIN BY FRANCOIS BANZONI with a two piece figured Sycamore back ( 13 3/4in/ 35cm), a two piece close grained Spruce table, and a highly figured maple neck, interior label states maker and the rear neck heel is stamped FB, along with a German bow ( of similar date) and a case. Receipt for repair dated 1986 along with Insurance Valuation from same year ( condition is very good with no obvious cracks, seperations or major scratches)
A POSSIBLE 18th CENTURY VIOLIN with one piece back length 14in, spruce table ( a number of repairs) figured maple neck( extensive repair and restoration) and an A.Monzino of Milan Rosewood case, with boxwood stringing, shaped top, fitted mahogany interior with three compartments and silvered fittings along with an unnamed bow.

B&SL", the back 14.5ins (excluding button), 23.5ins overallCondition ReportThe back, left of centre with a vertical crack, measuring approx 7ins. Now no longer under tension, the left side of this crack has slightly risen above the right and a ridge can be distinctly felt. In all other respects this violin appears to be in reasonably good condition. There is no bow with this lot.
