An Edwardian Maple & Co. satinwood and inlaid washstand, the marble superstructure (mirror missing) over a bow fonted central drawer, flanked by drawer and cupboard door, raised on square tapered legs to spade feet and castors (centre drawer stamped) CONDITION REPORTS In generally rough condition and has been stored in a barn. Some of the veneer is flaking off especially to the top structure. Wood is split on the side panels. Various finials are missing, is very dirty. Mirror is missing. Marble is very dirty and stained. Various pieces missing from the bottom of the superstructure where it meets the marble, drawers are very sticky. Crazing to the varnish, pieces of moulding missing all around bottom edges. Size approx 130cm long x 61cm deep and height from floor to top of marble is approx 78.5cm, total height approx 144cm. In need of attention.

Two Japanese carved ivory sectional Okimono, late Meiji Period (1868-1912) The first modelled as a Kyudo (Japanese archer), dressed in robes holding a bow and with a quiver of arrows on his back, signed to base, 20cm high, together with a second Okimono, modelled as a fisherman, modelled on shaped circular base, signed to base, 19cm high. (2) CONDITION REPORT: Lot 1034 Figure with bow and arrow has cracks to face and base, bow has been broken from hand and glued. Cracking to body. Cockle picker with hand broken and glued, light cracking to base, open crack to side of head.
A beautiful French patinated bronze figure 'Triumphato', after Ernest Rancoulet (French 1870-1915) The finely cast model after the original, modelled as two winged putti one with bow and quiver of arrows on his back, with scrolling clouds under foot and raiased on a globe shaped base, further mounted on a circular plinth base with title plaque inscribed 'Triumphato', signed to base 'Rancoulet', 64cm high.
