Tom Jones Photographs / Posters / Fan Club / Trousers plus, large collection of times comprising approximately one hundred and twenty privately taken photographs of Tom Jones with approximately seventy live shots from 1979 and 1980 (apparently by the same photographer) plus earlier live shots, meeting and signing for fans and more - many have written notes on the rear and probably many have never been seen by the public before now - mainly 5" by 3 ½" with some smaller together witha pair of brown dress suit trousers and a bow tie with a typed letter written by the sister of the lady who collected these items, that indicates that the trousers were won through the Tom Jones Fan Club in 1972 and the tie was given her at a concert at the Palladium Tuesday December 4th 1973, plus another bow tie which has a label stating Tom Jones, 4-26-71, Las Vegas, plus over one hundred Fan Club magazines, Newsletters etc dating from the 1970s - 1990s, plus seven large colour posters comprising five of Tom in various poses (two with overlays), a London Records Promo Poster (folded) and a promo poster for the release of 'Darlin - mainly all in very good condition
Late 19th century figured walnut credenza, the bow front cabinet with large door to the centre, flanked with a glazed door enclosing shelved interior, with cylindrical column support and gilt metal beading, 108cm high x 166cm wide x 43cm deep.Condition:The glass doors could have been replaced at some point. the beading has snapped to right side of right door, needing affixed. Gaps from lower area on right glass door to lower part of the door surround. Velour to interior is faded with age and worn. Doors open freely escutcheons slightly loose. Losses and scuffs to spindle feet. Allover staining, minor marks and colour fading to cabinet.

A pearl necklace, composed of two rows of graduated pearls, diameters ranging from 2.5mm to 7.8mm, to an early 20th century old-brilliant-cut, single-cut and rose-cut diamond bow form clasp, approximate length 45.5cm A verbal opinion from the Gemmological Certification Services, GCS, London, reference 5783-1398, states that the pearls were found to be natural salt water Condition Report:Gross weight 23.97g. Discolouration to silk, necklace would benefit from being restrung. Pearls are generally in good overall condition. Some blemishes (including pits, wrinkles and scratches) noted and some peeling/losses to the layers of nacre on some pearls. Lustre varies from very good to poor. Some pearls are circled. Some variation in shape and colour. Some misshapen and chipped pearls noted towards clasp.

Of Churchill interest; a scratch built painted wooden model of the New York built steam yacht 'Namouna', owned by James Gordon Bennett, 69cm long Footnote: This model formed part of the furnishings of the Churchill Suite at The Hotel de Paris in Monte Carlo, the room furnished in such a way as to evoke Sir Winston's character. In 2015 the hotel underwent major refurbishment, which resulted in them selling a large part of the contents, including this model boat, at auction. A frequent guest at the Hotel de Paris from 1945 onwards, Sir Winston spent his winters in Monte Carlo, initially occupying an apartment on the 4th floor of the Rotunda before it was raised four floors. In the early 1960s, invited by Aristotle Onassis, he stayed in a luxury apartment on the 8th and the most recently completed floor, next to the restaurant 'Le Grill'. From that time on the apartment was known as the Churchill Suite. Provenance: Hotel de Paris Sale, Artcurial, Monte Carlo, 25th January 2015, lot 9 (related ephemera included) String representing mezzanine guard railings has snapped/deteriorated in places, some of the wire deck pylons are misshapen, potentially missing port and starboard lifeboards amidships (if ever present), rigging not taught throughout but generally good. 1845 Victorian wedding dress in cream silk folded pleats on boned bodice with pointed waistline, two-tier sleeves, detachable large bow to be worn at the waist, matching short cape, silk cape trimmed with limerick lace. Also longer cape with fringing and deep brim cream bonnet.The wedding dress is in good condition, small mark on one sleeve, the hem has worn where it would have swept along the floor. The long line cape has damage on both sides, the short cape has damage on hem, the large bow is good, The bonnet is in good condition except the interior lace is damaged.
