An original WWII Second World War Defence Medal and related effects originally awarded to a member of 1st AA (Anti-Aircraft) unit. The collection also including their original cloth uniform patch depicting a bow and arrow, along with a typed 'thank you' card from General Reynolds, and two military stamped spoons. Interesting collection, and original recipient unknown.

A mid eighteenth century blue and white hand-painted Bow porcelain sauce boat, circa 1762-65. It is decorated with floral sprays and insects with diaper decoration around the inner rim. A Regency mahogany bow fronted chest on chest, fitted two short and six graduated long drawers, on bracket feet, W.112cm Condition: Overall good even mid reddish brown mahogany tone, slightly duller and browner to the sides, minor nicks and chips to the back edges of the pediment, handles are later replacements - at one point it had knob handles, a few old short splits to the sides, but overall fair to good condition and ready for use.
Three Bow porcelain figures of cherubs, c.1760-75, height 12 - 14.5cm Condition: The smallest figure has discoloured restoration to his right arm, the basket and a section of the base and his foot, the two other cherub figures have discoloured restoration from the waist upwards, the basket handle of one of the figures and typical losses to the encrusted flowers and leaves, one also has some restoration to the back of the base and tree stump, this is the example which has the dagger and anchor mark
British Royal Navy HMS Dunedin Cap Tally, Ship Sunk by U-Boat 24/11/1941, good early example with full stop after ship title. Originally tied with bow to the end. HMS Dunedin was a Danae-Class Light Cruiser, commissioned in 1919, she was involved in the supervision of the unloading of munitions at Danzig for the Polish government in October 1920, she also assisted with the relief effort after the Hawkes Bay earthquake in New Zealand in 1931. During WW2 she captured many German merchant ships in the Caribbean sea. She was also involved in capturing a number of the German enigma cipher machines from Merchant ships. In November 1941 she was making her way to the Atlantic Ocean, when she was attacked and sunk by the German U-Boat U-124. Only 4 officers and 63 men survived out of a crew of 486.
