An early Bow blue and white saucer, c.1754-56, painted with the Koto Player, an Oriental lady seated in a garden landscape and playing an instrument resting on her lap, the rim decorated with auspicious objects, 11.3cm.Provenance: from a deceased estate in the New Forest. Purchased from Steppes Hill Farm Antiques in 1996 and described as being from an English private collection.
A Bow blue and white kidney-shaped dish, c.1760, the central panel painted with a figure fishing from a boat, reserved on a powder blue ground within further circular and fan-shaped panels, the underside of the rim with tied scrolls and other objects, pseudo Chinese mark to the base, small glaze chips to the rim, 26cm.

A rare Bow porcelain model of a cat, c.1755-58, seated on its haunches with a mouse in one paw, the other paw resting on a blue mound into which a second mouse is scurrying, the cat`s coat picked out with tabby markings in purplish grey, seated on a low scrolling base, 8cm.Cf. The Fitzwilliam Museum, accession no. C.3055-1928 for a similar example from the Glaisher Collection.

Good quality Regency rosewood and parcel gilt sideboard, after a design by Henry Holland, with raised mirror back, breakfront marble top with two central drawers with two panelled doors below, with unusual gilt metal mounted sunburst central handle, flanked by two bow front cupboards with reeded columns with inverted tulip leaf decoration, on faceted bun feet, 185cm wide x 174cm high CONDITION REPORT This is a Regency period sideboard. The red surface is painted to the centre of the doors. It is in good original condition although there are some splits to the door veneers and some fading and wear to the gilding. The drawer handles are late Victorian replacements. The fan to the centre of the doors is ormolu while the rest of the mounts are gilt painted
Fine early twentieth century Belle Époque sapphire and diamond necklace, the principle oval mixed cut cornflower blue sapphire estimated to weigh approximately 8.66 carats, in millegrain collet setting with a raised pierced gallery and a border of calibre cut blue sapphires, within a quatrefoil lobed open-work frame of old cut diamonds, with a diamond set bow suspending a further pear-shape pendant drop, similarly set with pear cut cornflower blue sapphire, estimated to weigh approximately 3.50 carats, all in millegrain setting, suspended from diamond set bows on a trace chain. In original fitted tooled leather case, by Carrington & Co., 130 Regent Street, W CONDITION REPORT In excellent original condition. The diamond set bow linking the two clusters has a very small break and a couple of very small spots of solder - not lead solder but probably gold. No other repairs or alterations. The pendant measures approximately 75mm overall drop from the trace chain to the bottom of the pendant
A late Victorian 15ct gold diamond set bar brooch, the face worked in the "Etruscan" manner and set to centre with seven small old cut diamonds, 47mm x 22mm overall (gross weight 5.9 grammes), contained in dark brown leather fitted case retailed by Herschell House, Victoria Road, Deal, and an early 20th Century lady`s Swiss 18k gold and turquoise enamel fob watch, the 12mm gilt face with Arabic numerals, contained in 22mm engine turned turquoise and white enamel border, suspended from 9ct gold bow pattern brooch (gross weight 14 grammes)

A good early 18th Century gentleman`s silver pair cased verge pocket watch with "Sun and Moon" dial, by Williamson of Leverpool, the chased silver dial with single poker minute hand pointing to Arabic numerals, the hours shown in Roman numerals in half crescent, the dial centre with oval cartouche supported by mythical birds to the verge movement with ornate pierced and engraved watch cock and part back plate, and with rectangular baluster pillars, contained in plain silvery metal case and outer case (apparently unmarked, with case maker`s initials of "RL"), 58mm diameter (bow replaced and with old repair where fixed to case and winding hole with circular reinforcing panel) Note : John Williamson recorded working Liverpool early 18th Century, and with watch in Dennison Collection
