Embossed ‘TRUE/ DAFFY/ ELIXIR’ to front, ‘DICEY/ & CO/ NO 10 BOW/ CHURCH/ YARD/ LONDON’ to rear. Also embossed down each of the bevelled corners. Sharp base pontil. Chip to the delicate rolled lip, but a really delightful overall patination. £300-400 +.

A stuffed and mounted Perch and two Tench in naturalistic setting within a bow fronted three sided glazed display case, bears "J. Cooper & Sons" paper label to interior, and label verso inscribed "Restored by John Burton (Taxidermy) ..." CONDITION REPORTS Specimen fish appear mostly sound though a little dirty, naturalistic setting, glass and ebonised case a little dirty but generally appear OK. Size 52 cm high x 96 cm wide approx.
Three stuffed and mounted Grayling in naturalistic setting within a bow fronted glazed three sided display case, inscribed "Grayling River Windrush 1986 aggregate weight 3lbs 10.5 oz", bears "John Burton natural crafts taxidermy" label verso CONDITION REPORTS Specimen fish mostly sound though a little flaking underneath the chin of each fish, dried grasses a little yellowing, glass case intact, some mild rubbing to the gilt inscription to the front of the case. Size 36 cm high x 70 cm wide approx.

Covell at Ashurst July 29th 1910" to interior CONDITION REPORTS Overall with some general wear, scuffs and dirt, some stains to the blue backing to the interior of the case, some wear and scuffs to the fish, various re-coloured/re-painted areas.
