80cm incurved triangular section colichemarde blade with traces of scrolling foliate decoration, characteristic hilt with D-shaped knuckle bow bearing London silver hallmarks for Joseph Clare 1755, the upturned guard pierced with stands of arms and an anchor, the pommel decorated to match, silver wire bound grip. Neat repair to knuckle bow.
