A 19th Century mahogany bow fronted chest, the cross-banded and ebony strung top over three short and three long graduated drawers with pressed brass handles, raised on bracket feet, 117 cm wide x 57 cm deep x 111 cm high CONDITION REPORTS There are a couple of splits to the top. Veneer has been patched variously throughout, areas of inlay and main veneer missing. Appears to be replacement locks and handles. Repair to front left hand leg, splits to both sides and a repair to the back left hand leg. Wear and tear conducive with age and use to including knocks, bumps, scrapes, some fading and discolouration - see images for more details

A full-size German violin, unlabelled, the one-piece back, length 36.2cm, with bow and Edward Withers case.Additional InformationThere is one rather serious crack to the table and three other significant cracks, also wear to the corners, the back has a crack emanating from the bottom for around 7cm, but otherwise back appears good.
A full-size German violin, unlabelled, with one-piece back, length 36cm, a 3/4 size 'Maidstone' violin, length 33.3cm, and a German 1/4 size child's violin with inlaid two-piece back, length 27.9cm, the two larger instruments in a fitted double case with a bow and the smaller in its own ebonised case (3).Additional InformationThe full size violin has several scratches/ cracks to the table and surface wear commensurate with age and playing. The Maidstone violin has numerous scratches and damages to the edges, the 1/4 size violin is really rather nice and appears to be in good condition. The two bows are in need of re-hair in a bow box.
A full-size German violoncello, Stradivarius copy with typical label, the two-piece back of good colour, length 76cm, with bow in modern hard case.Additional InformationThe instrument appears to be in a very good state of repair and is accompanied by an invoice for repairs from Hill and Company in the amount of £4200 (dated 12.02.18) and a copy of this receipt is available upon request. There are some knocks to the edges in typical places commensurate with being played but overall appears to be in very good condition.

A pair of 19th century Chinese porcelain bowls, with moulded detailing and decorated with carp and flowers, 11cm diameter, with a blue and white dragon bowl (3).Additional InformationThe dragon bow, has been broken and is glue repaired. One of the fluted bowls with a hair line cracks and two chips to the rim. The other bowl with a small chip to the edge of the rim and a small glaze crack at rim.
