A diamond and turquoise brooch with ribbon bow decoration, 2.7 cm x 2.2 cm, a diamond, emerald and opal set brooch of crescent form, 3.4 cm x 2.5 cm and a Victorian diamond and emerald navete form brooch on ribbon tie loop, 3.5 cm x 1.5 cm CONDITION REPORTS Turquoise bead appears dirty to the surface though this may be part of the original colour. Otherwise the piece appear in good order. The crescent form brooch appears in good order throughout though there is a patch to the centre at rear which is assumed to be part of the original construction strengthening a weak section. If not, it has been there for some time. The navete form brooch appears to be in good order throughout
A Regency mahogany toilet mirror, the rectangular plate on reeded supports to a rosewood and crossbanded satinwood strung three drawer bow fronted base on bracket feet, 57.3 cm wide x 57 cm high and a 19th Century mahogany two tier whatnot, each tier with a single drawer and pressed brass handle raised on turned legs to brass caps and castors, 46 cm wide x 46 cm deep x 77.5 cm high CONDITION REPORTS Toilet mirror - foot off but present. Various areas missing including to the escutcheon. Looks like the ivory handles have been off. Very discoloured to the top. Damage to the mirror plate. See images for more details. In need of some tlc. The whatnot - one finial is off but present although is a darker colour to the other three. Surface scratching, water marks, etc. Knocks, bumps, etc, throughout. Has been "used". There is a split to the lower tier at the back right hand corner. Wear and tear conducive with age and use. Both items in need of tlc. See images for more details.
An Edwardian Sheraton Revival bookcase cabinet of slim proportions, the fan marquetry inlaid caddy top over a bow front with four adjustable shelves and cupboard door enclosing a further shelf, on splayed supports, 42.5 cm wide x 17 cm deep x 201 cm high CONDITION REPORTS Whilst bascially sound, the piece is a little tired throughout including some damage to the varnish on the top of the fan section and some damage and loss to the beading on the cornice and to the left hand side. Veneers to the left and right of the shelving with cracks horizontally along the grain and one area of loss. The shelves are basically sound. The door with some cracking, particularly to the corners and along the grain on the centre medallion. The feet with damage front and back to the left side and similar to the right. Otherwise colour fairly uniform throughout - see images for further detail
