It fastens with a pin and revolver catch. It bears no hallmark, nor stamps, but in our opinion it would test as gold. The approximate qualities of the diamonds are; colour H/I/J, clarity SI1/SI2/I1. A Mourning Brooch/Pendant, circa 1800, an oval locket containing a lock of hair, within a border of rose cut diamonds, surmounted by a bow motif and suspended from a pendant loop, also set with diamonds, in closed back settings, total estimated diamond weight 3.00 carat approximately, measures 2.5cm by 4.5cm This is in good condition in keeping with the age. There scuffs and marks, none serious. It is possible that the pin is a later replacement, and the loop does not look entirely original - perhaps some previous repair?? It fastens with a pin and hook catch. It bears no hallmark, nor stamps, in our opinion it would test as silver and gold. The approximate qualities of the diamonds are; colour J/K/L, clarity SI1/SI2/I1. Gross weight 10.0 grams. CR made 7th January 2015

It fastens with a pin and hook catch. It bears no hallmark, nor stamps, but in our opinion it would test as silver settings on a gold mount. The approximate qualities of the diamonds are; caratweight 1.80, colour I/J/K, clarity SI2/I1/I2. Gross weight 7.6 grams. CR made 11th February 2015
