A good selection of vintage unsigned 8 x 10 (and a few slightly smaller) publicity portraits and film stills relating to Dennis Price, showing him in costume from various films including The Bad Lord Byron (as Lord Byron, 1949), Oh - Rosalinda!! (as Major Frank, 1955), The Magic Bow (as Paul de la Rochelle, 1946)  Kind Hearts and Coronets (as Louis Mazzini, 1949), Jassy (as Christopher Hatton, 1947), Caravan (as Sir Francis Castleton, 1946), Holiday Camp (as Hardwicke, 1947), Hungry Hill (as Greyhound John, 1947) etc., some showing him with co-stars including Alec Guinness, Jack Hawkins, Mel Ferrer, Robert Helpmann, Stewart Granger, Jean Simmons etc., a few on film sets, attending various social events etc. A little duplication. Many with original credit stamps to the versos and some with printed descriptions attached. Some age wear and minor faults, generally G to about VG, 158

An earlier variant, a little longer than the later versions and without chain-holes, designed to slide into runners and possibly used on the pre-1937 electric stock or T-Stock. In well-used condition with some chipping. [1]

An earlier type of plate, without the centrally-located chain-holes and appears to be intended for sliding into holders. Has small lugs at top edge showing abbreviations of the destinations. In good, ex-use condition with some small enamel losses on both sides. [1]
