Named on th reverse to 1966 Bro G Higgins Court Officer 30 years, Court 6270 SWD. In its original case, with Ancient Order of Foresters, Official Regalia, sold only to the Executive Council inside the lid. A QE11 Police Exemplary Service Medal, named to Const Michael J Brinkworth.

Defence Medal and 1953 Coronation Medal, the three mounted for wear. A cased Women's Voluntary Service Medal unnamed as issued, with two further Long service bars . With original bow ribbon mount present, also ribbon bars confirming the awards.

Also a scrap album with letters and POW documents regarding absolute obedience to the Japanese 'Dai Nippon Gun'. Sailing to first Africa thence Java where surrender upon arrival took place, 3rd March 1942. Prison Camp notices, Tandjon Priok Camp and British Orders to bow when the Japanese are present etc. Any Prisoners sitting when a Japanese Officer appeared were to leap to attention and salute in the prescribed manner. Letter and notes from other fellow Prisoners from Australia etc, he received after the Japanese Surrender. How to rejoin civilian life monies due, etc. Repatriated Prisoners of War in Canada on the way home, behaviour etc. Official paperwork for his Returned POW's etc.

CONDITION REPORT: All silver frames in very good condition. Only with wear to backs commensurate with age. Some tarnish. Garland decorated frame with two bent areas (minor, around aperture).
A full sized Austrian/German violin with two-piece back, length 36cm, with hand-written label to interior for Anton Joffmann, 1898, also numbered 1552 and inscribed "J.H. Cryer", cased with a bow. CONDITION REPORT: Good overall condition. Some surface wear commensurate with age. One tiny crack by the peg for A string. Bow tightens but not of merit.

A 19th century mahogany bow front chest, of two short and two long drawers, 90.5 cm wide Condition report Report by RB Looks to have been restored at some point in its life, not particularly recently. A couple of minor ring marks to the top, the sides generally good, the handles appear original, there are three keys with it, there is a patch let in to the structure above the bottom drawer key hole, general knocks, wear and tear consummate with age.
EARLY 19TH CENTURY MAHOGANY BOW FRONTED SIDEBOARD of small proportions, having a cross banded top over two deep drawers, one a cellarette, flanking centre drawer over arch, overall with cross banded and inlaid decoration on square tapering legs with spade feet. 89 x 100 x 53cm. CONDITION REPORT: Good clean condition commensurate with age, minor wear and tear but no serious noted damage or losses.
EARLY 19TH CENTURY MAHOGANY BOW FRONTED CHEST of three cock beaded, graduated drawers under a brushing slide, the moulded top with chequered and banded inlays, the drawers with banded outlines and brass loop handles on splay bracket feet. 86 x 94 x 53.5cm. CONDITION REPORT: Evident losses to banding and veneers on the top, some minor losses to drawer surrounds and frieze, a little dry to the ends, marked and scuffed commensurate with age.
EARLY 19TH CENTURY MAHOGANY BOW FRONTED CHEST of two short and three long, cock beaded and graduated drawers, in two sections with cross banded top, later brass handles, standing on bun feet. 110 x 110 x 60cm. CONDITION REPORT: Overall basically good condition for age, some minor losses, nicks and bumps to projecting cock beading and angles, general wear and tear commensurate with age. Stains and marks.
A late 19th century viola by Hawkes and Son, London circa 1890:, scroll carved head stock over ebony finger board, two piece flame back, one piece soundboard, label to interior as per title numbered '1594', together with an unsigned bow and accessories in a fitted case, 40 cm long. (repaired and 'colonialised' with wooden pegs to body to reduce humidity)
