Chevalier & Compagnie, a French gold and enamel open faced pocket watch, the signed enamel dial with black Roman numerals, winding aperture at 2 o'clock, the two piece hinged case with control marks to the stem between the bow, housing a signed fusee verge escapement key wound movement, number 5411, with two colour gold border, with a gilt metal outer detachable bezel, the case back enamelled with two classical female figures with an urn to the background against a blue guilloche ground, 5.6cm overall diameter, 86 grams gross inclusive of movement Condition report: Outer case is dirty. There are chips to the enamel, mainly on the white border but a small chip to the blue. The dial and glass are in good condition. There is no key but the balance wheel turns when you shake it. Outer case is gilt metal.
