DAVID BOWIE - ASHES TO ASHES 7" ('TRANSLUCENT RED' VINYL PRESSING - BOW 6). Scarcely seen UK pressing of the classic 1980 release with a red light visible to the vinyl when held to strong light. The record is in VG+ condition with some light and minor surface marks/scuffs, though nothing heavier. Complete with the original stamps inner in Ex+ condition. The original picture sleeve is in very neat Ex condition.
An original Mainman press pack for Mick Ronson - Slaughter on 10th Avenue including promotional 8 x 10" black and white photograph with inscription and signature from Mick Ronson. Inscription reads 'Jo you dog (Bow wow) love'. A second photo in the press pack is also inscribed with 'XXX' likely also in the hand of Ronson.
An Edwardian silver suffragette pepperette, by Saunders & Shepherd, with pull off cover, modelled as a suffragette in a peek bonnet, tied with a bow beneath her chin, carrying two ivorine placards, the red lettering reading ‘VOTES FOR WOMEN’ to the front and ‘WE CAN MAKE THINGS HOT FOR YOU’ to the reverse, with stamped Registration No. 522383, hallmarked for Chester 1908, height 8.3cm. £600-£800 --- An almost identical example was sold through these rooms on 18 June 2019, Lot 287.
