A mixed group comprising: an African(?) tribal bronze bracelet with knop finials, pointillé lines, ring-and-dot motifs; a bronze bow brooch with D-shaped headplate and five radiating knops, narrow bow, trapezoidal footplate with linear detailing, attached to the pin-lugs to the reverse a short chain with two Roman(?) glass beads and a Greek(?) coin. 169 grams total, bracelet: 63mm (2 1/2). 1st-2nd century AD. A mixed bronze group comprising: a headstud bow brooch; two Colchester type bow brooches; an enamelled equal-armed plate brooch; two nail cleaners (one Crummy type 2a). Recorded with the Portable Antiquities Scheme with reference numbers NMS-D316B4, 451196, 593E65, D5D195, A2DODE, 9C8C84. 25 grams total, 35-60mm (1 1/2 - 2 1/4). Found Norfolk (PAS Recorded). A matched pair of bronze pendants, each an omega-shaped yoke with scrolled finials, wire loop to each bow with two trapezoidal sheet bronze pendant plaques with repoussé bilinear borders. 20 grams total, 72-78mm (2 3/4 - 3). Property of an English gentleman; formerly in a European collection; acquired in the early 1990s. [2, No Reserve]. Fine condition, some edges chipped, one plaque absent.

dating: 17th Century provenance: Germany, Iron tiller with loading lever at the back, provided with foldaway sight; wooden butt engraved with outlines and semi-circles, provided with cheek-piece and decorated with circular, bone inlays engraved with rays and elliptical ones engraved with deer, dog, tree and flower. Trigger guard. Iron bow. On the back of the lever a stamped shield depicting a squirrel. length 66 cm.
