Important Koshirae with beautiful iron tsuba richly pierced and carved with katana, kabuto, do and other partially gilded parts of the armour. Fuchi-Kashira finely decorated with floral motifs of various metals on a matt granulated background. Rare very long menuki (8.7 cm) representing a bow with partially gilded quivers. Tsuka of considerable length. Remarkable saya with very elegant horizontal band pattern; koiguchi (very small missing part) and black horn kurigata; kojiri of gilded metal decorated with granulate. length 97.2 cm.

Lacking some small elements- lyre to bottom left corner, main bow, lower section of arrow/sword to centaur's left hand. Overall fairly greenish areas of surface interspersed with darker patination. Small areas such as Achilles face with possible later repatination. The surface slightly rough in areas and drapery section which had lyre on it loose/partially fixed to base.
