A mahogany bow fronted cupboard on carved feet, height 112 x 77 x 37cm.Additional InformationLocked without key so cannot advise on interior, veneer losses, sun bleaching, scuffs and scrapes throughout, chips to feet, feet very probably added later as are an entirely different colour, have an imperfect fitting and don't seem to match the cupboard.
A late 19th century mahogany bow fronted chest of two short over three long drawers with ebony inlay to top, 103 x 103cm.Additional InformationThere are splits to the veneer as well as lifting throughout predominately to the top, further Scuffs, scrapes, scratches, abrasions commensurate with age and use throughout. There are also some repaired sections of veneer.
A group of early nineteenth century blue and white transfer-printed plates, c.1820-30. To include: a Brameld Castle of Rochefort plate, a Pountney Gothic Ruins plate, a Rogers Monopteros pattern plate, a Pagoda Park pattern plate and a Riley Eastern Street Scenery pudding bowl. 19 – 21 cm wide. Rare and important mid-18th century Bow porcelain figure of Kitty Clive in the character of "The Fine Lady" from David Garrick's farce "Lethe", she stands with a small dog under her right arm, her flounced dress painted with floral sprigs above a yellow bodice with purple edges. Note: the figure is modelled from a print published in 1750 by Charles Mosley, for an example with the companion figure from the Godden collection, was sold by Bonhams in April 2010 Lot 88. Most examples are found in the white and coloured versions are very rare and may have been outside decorated. 27cm high
