A Victorian mahogany linen press. COLLECT ONLY.Original back boards. Doors hinged & relatively flat. Damage to veneer on right hand side at the bottom of top and chunk missing at the side top back on same side. Base beading off on the left hand side inside drawer. Poole & Co, Army & Navy Tailors, 32 Saville Row, and 4 Old Burlingtons, London with further applied brass plaque inscribed 'Alfred Harris Esq', containing a Royal Navy Officer's mess dress, comprising short jacket with label to the interior for 'C.H. Bernard Sons Ltd, Harwich, Essex', a matched pair of trousers, a sword hanger belt, a pair of gilded epaulettes with leather back inscribed 'Gillott & Hasell, Navy Outfitters 2 New Burlington Street, London, W', and further inscribed 'Portsmouth', a black dickie bow, three ties, and a black cummerbund label verso 'Cummerbund black RN Officers, size 1'.
An Edwardian 9ct gold nurse's watch, the circular white enamelled dial set with Roman numerals, red '12' and smaller subsidiary seconds dial, with indistinct Liverpool maker's mark, crown wind movement, in a 9ct gold head, suspended on a 9ct gold tied bow brooch. CONDITION REPORT: Approx 20g. At the time of cataloguing, the watch appears to be in going order, however this is no guarantee of working order. Some general wear and tear as expected. The swivel clasp and hoop uniting them both are not gold.
A walnut and burr walnut three-piece bedroom suite comprising a nine-drawer twin pedestal dressing table, the shaped mirror above single drawer flanked by bowed pedestals, each with four drawers, 152 x 121 x 53cm and a pair of matching bow front four-drawer bedside tables, all to plinth bases, each 69 x 34 x 51cm (af) (3). CONDITION REPORT: The dressing table has several areas of scratching to the surface most notably to the left hand side with further signs of wear throughout commensurate with use, the bedside table tops have warped in the middle with a hump running horizontally across the surface with further minor scuffs, scrapes, splits, etc, visible throughout.
