A Victorian bow fronted chest of two over three drawers with brass drop handles, 95 cm (h) x 98 cm (w) x 48 cm (d) (b) .The surface of the drawers is in a good condition, no scratches or marks there is a small section of beading missing from the top left hand drawer. This item may have some minor marks from age related wear and tear. Please note buyer collects from a L38 address by appointment only
Two-part badge in the form of a laurel and oak wreath with a stylized eagle in the shape of gilded wings, a five-pointed star visible in the upper part, a bow in the lower part. The reverse with visible mounting pins. Omega clasp. Dimensions 54 mm x 42 mm. Badge described in Zdzisław Sawicki's book " Badges of the Polish Army 1918 - 1945 ", page 426. A two-part badge in the form of a wreath of oak leaves with a bow at the bottom. In the center there is a visible wing ending with a five-pointed star. The reverse has bits with a counter, visible two omegas for attaching the badge. Dimensions 48 mm x 42 mm. The badge is included in the book "Badges of the Polish Army 1918 - 1945" by Sawicki, page. 427. General condition visible in the photos.
This cap belonged to a Swiss soldier of the 78th Rifle Battalion during World War I. Cap made of black felt with a leather peak, visible vents on the sides. On the forehead of the cap, near the top, there is a green pompom supported by a green and white bow, below it there are two crossed rifles and the number 74 and two stars on the sides. Leather inside.General condition visible in the photos.
Polish officer's salon buckle, introduced in 1928, worn with salon attire (during visits, receptions, balls, official receptions, family celebrations, in the theater). Buckle in accordance with the order book: "made of white metal (silver-plated bronze, oxidized) ) with an edge thickness of 3 mm, slightly concave towards the center, has a rim of 7 and ? mm wide, and in the circle thus created, with a diameter of 3.75 cm, there is a bas-relief depicting a male head wearing an ancient helmet. The convexity of the head drawing is approximately 3 mm. The buckle is attached to the belt using two bows made of 2 mm thick wire, made of the same metal as the buckle. The buckle is permanently attached to the right bow, and it is attached to the left bow with a clasp located underneath the buckle. "Smooth reverse (convex "Mint of State" signature visible in the upper part), belt buckle attachment visible on the side. Dimensions; 54 mm. Condition visible in the photos
