A Mid 20th Century Amethyst Brooch, an emerald cut amethyst in a yellow four claw setting, within a bow frame, measures 4.5cm by 6cm, and A Pair of Earrings, ensuite, with post and clip fittings for pierced ears, measure 2cm by 3.4cm The jewellery is in good condition. The brooch fastens with a pin and revolver catch. All three items are stamped `9CT` and in our opinion would test as gold. The amethyst in the brooch measures 22.38mm x 16.14mm x 9.63mm. Gross weight 27.2 grams. CR made 24th September 2013

A William IV mahogany and crossbanded work table, the drop leaf top with two frieze drawers and sliding 'bag' on vase shaped end supports with moulded paw feet, w. 92 cm, leaves raised CONDITION REPORT: minor losses including one handle and brass key escutcheon, bag in need of resoration, leaves slightly warped, top with shrinkage and associated bow to leaves
A 19th Century salt glazed flagon as "Souter Johnny", 25 cm high CONDITION REPORTS Slightly dirty. To the handle there is a firing fault approx 1cm long. Base of handle has several firing cracks. A noticeable join line to hat. A 0.5cm long line / firing fault near spout. Face has several firing cracks, including through eye, under eyes, around chin, and some pitting / kiln deposits. Bow tie has firing cracks. A crack to hairline to the bottom side of the collar at front, and a chip on the other side at base of collar. Various other firing cracks. A hairline crack to glaze from under spout right down one side and towards middle of base where the original join was and has now become a deeper crack, and similarly to other side but not as obvious, where join has become more cracked over the years. A brown spot of discolouration near crack to collar. Base has wear conducive with age and use.
