Uneven tick.Case - Some surface scratches and very minor bruises as to be expected and commensurate with use and age. Hinge to the rear cover strained and loose, but still intact. Some wear to the pendant bow.

WW2 German Army Officers Sword by Ernst Pack & Sohne, Solingen, good example of the unattributed pattern type sword by this maker, with langet having armed forces down winged eagle and swastika, flat knuckle bow with oakleaves relief, leopard head pommel with glass ruby eyes and patterned backstrap. Reverse of the langet with the remains of original owners initials ‘KG’. Black celluloid covered grip with wire binding. Housed in its original steel scabbard with single hanging ring, possibly repainted. Slightly curved steel blade with makers trademark to the base. Generally good condition. Blade measures 33 ½ inches, overall 39 ½ inches.

Makers trademark to the base of the blade. The blade measures 31 ¾ inches, overall 37 ½ inches. This pattern of sword is referenced as WKC Model Nr 1055. Scabbard with some areas of repainting.
