An Edwardian heavily embellished wedding court dress originally in two pieces, made by Kate Riley circa 1903, next worn at court in 1913 before being given as a wedding dress by owner Alice Goring who passed it to her daughter in law Edna Bradbury who married W.G Goring (son) in 1933. It was later reconstructed in 1933 into a one piece wedding dress. The satin gown is decorated in beautifully reconstructed flowers and leaf pattern and tiny diamante beads to the elbow sleeves and V neckline, the skirt has a circular train and the waistline has a bow and ribbon detail. The heavily embroidered shoulder length train from 1903 was worn at the court of Edward VII. The Goring family are well known hoteliers, at the Goring Hotel
