A gold watch presented to Harry Nuttall in commemoration of Bolton Wanderer’s victory in the 1923 F.A. Cup final, an 18ct. gold hunter case keyless jewelled lever pocket watch by Thos. Russell & Son, Liverpool, the white enamel dial with repeat signature, Arabic numerals and subsidiary seconds, plain case, Chester, 1922, lacking bow, the cuvette engraved PRESENTED TO H NUTALL, COMMEORATING, ASSOC CUP FINAL, 28/4/23, BOLTON 2 WEST HAM O, in original fitted case. Harry Nuttall was born in Bolton on 9th November 1897 and joined Bolton Wanderers in December 1920 from local side Fleetwood. He was part of the Bolton team who won the Cup three times in the 1920s, including the famous White Horse final at the newly built Wembley Stadium in 1923.
Four various pairs of tongs: two late 19th/early20th century Russian pairs with 'hatched' or textured grips, a late 18th century German pair with paterae-pierced bowl, maker 'ILB', Nuremberg c.1790 and a 19th century Russian provincial pair, the large 'bow' engraved with a girl taking tea from a samovar and using a pair of sugar tongs, possibly Vladimir 1834, 5oz. A good 18ct gold quarter repeating watch, the gilt movement jewelled to the centre with underhung ruby cylinder escapement, plain three-arm balance, parachute and compensation curb, the signed enamel dial with Arabic numerals and subsidiary seconds at '4', the signed cuvette numbered '21', the engine turned case marked for London 1815 with casemaker's mark 'FH' with piston-repeat button in the bow. 55mm diameter.
A Belle Epoch opal, pearl and diamond pendant, the pear shaped opal (crazed) set within an alternate border of seed pearls and rose diamond laurel leaves, suspended from a diamond set bow (one diamond missing) within a frame of millegrain set green stones in gold. Fitted case by Hunt & Roskell.
A Delightful 19th Century Gilt Framed Pier Mirror. The arch topped bevel-edged glass set in a moulded gilt frame with ribbon twist border and beaded inner edge. The top surmounted by a delicate gesso-work garland of roses, flowers,foliage and berries tied in a loop to the centre with a flowing ribbon bow, 64 ins x 34 ins (163 cms x 86 cms).
A French 19th Century Gilt Bronze Clock Set in the Louis XVI Style. The painted porcelain dial signed Desfontaines FT; Rue St Honore 422; à Paris, set in a drum case mounted with a gilt bronze figure of Cupid holding a bird & bow, and resting upon the naturalistic ground. The alabaster base raised on foliated & lobed feet. 21½ ins (55 cms). The matching five light candelabra issuing scrolling branches from an urn held by seated cherubs, 26 ½ ins (67 cms) in height.

The curved dentil moulded cornice above the glazed cupboard door decorated with long vertical glazing bars creating lancet points at the top with triangular mottled glass inserts, measuring 25 ins (63 cms) in width, 39½ ins (100 cms) in height.
An Early Georgian Style Walnut Partners Table. The top having tooled leather inserts with a moulded edge. The frieze fitted with double-bow fronted centre drawers flanked by deep cross-banded drawers either side above a shaped apron. Standing on carved cabriole legs with pad feet. 29 ½ ins (75 cms) high, 42 ins x 42 ins (107 cms x 107 cms).
A Pretty 19th Century Painted Mahogany Display Cabinet. The upper section surmounted by a moulded broken arch pediment decorated with foliate sprays above cross-banding, a painted frieze of floral garlands and two glazed doors with astrigal moulded figure-of-eight glazing bars and a shelved interior backed in blue watered silk. The door frames painted with strings of bell-flowers and beads. The base section having two long bow-front drawers inlaid with satinwood cross-banding edged in stringing and painted with paterae and scrolling trails of flowers & foliage with gilt brass ribbon-tied reeded swing handles on beaded mounts. The square tapering legs on bulb feet united by a galleried under-shelf painted with a floral swag, 365 ins (92 cms) wide, 83 ins (211 cms) high.
A Charming Sheraton Style Painted Satinwood Vitrine cross-banded in rosewood with ebony & boxwood stringing. The upper section having a glazed display door with decorative geometric glazing bars, framed by painted strings of undulating flowers entwined in ribbon. The shaped pediment painted with three cavorting putti and surmounted by urn finials to the corners above painted paterae. The sides embellished with trumpet vases of flowers raised on foliate scrolls festooned in garlands and hung with pendant trophies of blue ribbon bows. The base section having a scrolling cartouche to the break bow front depicting an idyllic rural scene flanked by lavish Neo-classical scrolls with floriate swags to the frieze drawer, musical trophies either side and pendant garlands leading down the square tapering legs to the concave fronted galleried undershelf. 31 ins (79 cms) wide, 81 ins (206 cms) high.
An Oval Satinwood Table. The well figured top painted with a central cartouche comprising of a horn, bow & arrows and undulating vine leaves, bordered by a band of white flowers. The square tapering legs adjoined by carved stretchers raising an oval centre platform painted with a band of flowers. Standing 27¾ ins high on ceramic casters. 27 ins (68½ cms) wide.
A Splendid Quality Inlaid Pembroke Table. The oval top clad in a striking straight grained veneer centred by an inlaid patera within a fanned panel radiating flower-heads. The border enriched with a band of triangular dog-tooth inlay framed by cross-banding edged with stringing. The bow-front ends fitted with a drawer on one side and dummy drawer on the other and raised on elegant square tapering legs with brass caps & castors, 42 ins x 30 ins (107 cms x 76 cms), 28½ ins (72.5 cms) high.
A Good Quality 19th Century Carved Giltwood Armchair of Louis XV influence. The broad cartouche back, bow front upholstered seat and padded elbow rests in a channel moulded frame with carved shell crests emanating sprays of flowers & foliage adorning the top, seat rail and heading the cabriole legs.
