19th Century Ladies' Costume, comprising a black silk fitted long sleeve bodice, with floral embroidered with stand up collar, military style frogging to the front, black modesty style panel to the front and multi buttons, labelled to the waist EP Rose and Sons of Bedford; a black velvet shoulder cape, with stand up collar appliquéd with black bead trims radiating from around the neck, silk lining; black velvet shoulder cape, with black lace gathered trims to the lower edges, black silk ribbon fastening and bow to one shoulder, trims to the reverse; black silk capelet, mounted with black lace to the neck and shoulders, a section of beadwork appliqués to the front and back, followed by a lace gathered trim to the hem, black silk lining; early 20th century black velvet cape, with smocked detail around the neck, string tie hung with pom-poms, cream silk type lining (5) . Black silk fitted long sleeve bodice - there is a little bit of rubbing, and some possible alterations, rubbing to the lower part of the sleeves and the silk; A black velvet shoulder cape - overall some of the trims have loose threads, fading and bead loss, slight wear overall. Black Velvet Shoulder Cape - numerous small holes and tears to the black lace, which is also faded, edges of the velvet are also worn, black silk lining, there is a split and stitched repairs to each arm, the trim to the reverse has come loose, and general wear. Black Silk Capelet - numerous beads are missing, loose threads and fading, ribbon worn. Early 20th Century Black Velvet Cape - couple of staining marks to the lining, wear and slight fading, slight fading to the black velvet.

Green and gold cocktail dress - very faded to the top of the shoulders, an area of wear just below the waist band, and another couple of stains, a small hole to the sleeve holes and some fading to the hem. Green chiffon dress - couple of holes to the lace on the back and front, couple of marks and small repairs to the skirt. Peach dress - trim loose to the neckline and some wear. Floral dress - -a tear to the bottom of the side opening, and to the top. Repairs and fraying to the edges of both shoulder straps, and to the back of the bodice some light discolouration and general wear.

Cream sleeveless wool top, peach example and two pink examples - all have some missing beads and sequins, the peach top has some staining around the neckline and to some of the sequins overall, and several loose threads to each. Similar wool top, FERMUS top, TRICOVILLE top, similar example, crepe evening top, Rich Shops top - all have some bead and sequin loss and show slight wear overall. One of the Tricoville black and gold tops the zip is very stiff. Pink skirt - discolouration and holes to the lining. Black sequin skirt - slight wear. Large silver sequinned on white wool skirt and short sleeved top - staining around waistband the edges of the top, some sequin loss. Black cardigan and black silk example - bead losses. Gingham reversible circular skirt - the button area has split, wear to the waistband. Circular skirt - repaired and slight wear.

Blue jacket - one button is missing, there is some fading to one of the shoulders and slight discolouration. Robert Dorland jacket - the lining is loose to one of the front openings, and possibly been re-stitched, slight fading to the lining on the sleeve, otherwise okay. Beusou Glasgow jacket - there is some staining to the lining on the back, a couple of small holes to the top of the collar and slight wear. Blue metallic jacket - two buttons are missing and slight wear overall. Jacket - slight discolouration to the back of the collar on the shoulders, otherwise okay.

Jean Allen dress - a small split to the hem 2/3'' from the end, a hole about 12'' from the hem, belt missing, scuffing and wear mainly to the hem. red sleeveless dress - a couple of marks, loose threads around the buttonholes, some of the stones missing from the buttons, slight wear. Susan Small dress - slight wear. G McCan dress - little bit of fading and slight wear. John Marks dress - slight wear. Carnegie dress - slight wear. Frank Usher dress - couple of marks to the reverse, pen mark to the bodice, the gold trims are rubbed and fading. Bernshaw dress - missing a belt, and some wear and rubbing to the velvet. Peterson Maid dress - slight wear.
