A pair of Irish provincial silver sugar tongs, 18th century, by John & Samuel Nicholson, Cork, with bright cut decoration, initialled 'MH', 14.5cm long, 1.2oztCondition report: Wear to decoration and marks. No signs of a crack to the bow. The bow still retains a good spring. There are no ‘way’ sections to the edges.The crack does not appear to be on the other side, please see the attached images. They do not feel particularly delicate.
A 19th Century German violin, labelled 'Mathia Neuner, Geigenmacher in Mittenwald, 1810, Nro. 94', of dark reddish-brown colour, the heavily figured two piece back measuring 354mm, together with two violin bows, one stamped 'Albert Nurnberger' with an octagonal stick, 74.5cm long and approx. 59.8g, the other stamped 'Paris' with an octagonal stick, 74.5cm long and approx. 54.5g, a fitted hard case and a set of W.E. A small Regency mahogany bow-fronted sideboard, set with three cockbeaded and crossbanded drawers, raised on tapering square supports terminating in spade feet,107cm wide. 60cm deep, 91cm highCondition report: Knocks, polished in scratches and wear to top. A little bit of wobble due to slender legs. Fading and discolouration to top. Right drawer split. Knocks and losses moulding. Splits and patch repairs to sides. Metalware later. Drawers run smoothly.
