A late Victorian Chippendale revival Display Cabinet on stand, the top having pierced fret cut pediment over applied floral moulded frieze, the pair of opposing twelve pane geometrically glazed doors with wooden glazing bars opening to reveal two glass shelves. The bow fronted table base having moulded top with flight of two applied moulded front drawers with ornate brass plate handles, standing on tapering square legs with lower shaped tier and spade feet. 30 1/8'' wide x 72'' high x 18 1/4'' deep
A nineteenth century mahogany bow front writing cabinet having pull out slide. With raised super structure and having tambour fronts to the upper and lower sections. The lower section is fitted with pigeon holes and a bank of five drawers, 85cm wide. Condition Report. To be used as a guide only. Some small neveer losses. Beading losses. New leather. Some chips and wear to edges.

Raised on a bow fronted plinth with fluted moulding. Underglazed cross swords mark, 14cm. Condition Report. To be used as a guide only. Head broken and crudely re attached. Mirror broken and re glued. Chipping to the base edge and loss to the lace work.

A mixed group of artefacts comprising: a 1st century BC bronze penannular brooch of Type C with scrolled terminals, lozenge-section shank, round-section pin with scrolled finial; a 4th century AD crossbow brooch with three onion-shaped knops, deep bow, rectangular footplate with chamfered sides and ring-and-dot detail, hinged pin; a 2nd century bronze plate brooch formed as an S-shaped plaque with trumpet finials, trumpet-shaped spur, pin-lugs with pin and catchplate; a bronze stylus with round-section shank and broad triangular erasing plate; a clay tobacco pipe with old inked accession number 'A10' and a cross-in-circle motif. 82 grams total, 3-13cm (1 1/4 - 5"). A mixed group of detector finds comprising: twelve bow brooch fragments, two with pin in situ; two bronze finger rings; a domed plate brooch; twenty-eight bronze coins of various types; a pierced coin used as a pendant; a La Tène III brooch; a gilt-bronze Saxon small-long brooch. 113 grams total, 9-44mm (1/4 - 1 3/4"). A bronze bow brooch comprising a pelta-shaped plaque with vertical ribbing, remains of catchplate to the lower edge, rod with coiled spring at each end, five cusped rings. 91 grams, 89mm (3 1/2"). LEON THAREL [FRENCH, 1858-1902], BRONZE SCULPTURE, H 10", L 10", 'IDLE FIDDLER': A resting boy with fiddle, medium brown patina, signed "Tharel" and stamped with two foundry marks along with SUSSE FES. EDTS. Paris [see additional photos]. Measuring H.10" x 10 3/8" x 7", on a mottled green marble base, H.11 1/2" x 12" x 7 7/8" overall. The bow is removable. Leon Tharel, French, 1858-1902.

A Christmas greetings card from the Royal Airship Work, [1929], folded paper card with aperture revealing RAW logo on full-page insert, R101 illustration, inscribed from '4 Gadsby St', covers slightly soiled, cloth spine bow, 10 x 12.5cm, together with a printed Order of Service for the burial of those lost in the airship R101 at Cardington Cemetery, 11 October 1930, 8pp., some spotting, stitched as issued, slim 8vo, plus a related 4-page souvenir leaflet, small tear to upper margin with loss of decorative border, oblong 8vo The R101 crashed on 5 October 1930 in France during its maiden overseas voyage, killing 48 of the 54 people on board.
