A 19th century Saxon cello Two piece back measuring 75cm, ebony fretboard, cosmetic scratches, lacks bow and case.There appears to be a crack in right side of the cello which has been repaired, apart from this there are no signs of any other cracks in the body and neck. The sound post and bass bar appear to be undamaged and no signs of woodworm. The neck from the bottom of the peg box to the edge of cello front measures 28cm.
A late 19th / early 20th century German violin With a grotesque carved scroll and 'Mercury' carved cameo to rear, a single piece back measuring 35cm, bow measures 73cm, cased.This appears to be in great condition with just some cosmetic scratches and a firm neck. An indistinct makers mark has been found stamped by the chin rest which reads 'Turner London'.
A stamped 'Duke' of London violin A late 19th / early 20th century violin with 'Duke London' stamped below the button, back measures 35.5cm, bow measures 62cm, with carved scroll and case.Where the body meets the lower bout, there are two slits developing. Otherwise, there are no condition issues.

3 1950s dresses to include a flock velvet Frank usher cocktail dress with picture collar an early 50s, possibly late 40s gown in a pretty floral cotton and a cocktail length gown in black taffeta with floral print with sweetheart neckline and boned bodice. (3)all generally good condition. cotton dress has a penny sized mark on towards the bottom at the front. I think the taffeta dress is missing a bow on the hip, and it has a small seam pop.
A red velvet 1950s dress with grosgrain bow, a strappy red wiggle dress with bow back, a red gold and black brocade fit and flare party dress with bow detail (replacement zipper), a black taffeta dress with beading and pearls around the yoke and a fitted shift in black with beaded cut out yoke (5)generally good condition, the wool brocade dress is excellent, there's a popped outer seam on the arm of the taffeta dress, the seam is still closed as there's two rows of stitching, a couple of marks on the skirt of the satin dress, a few loose beads on the yoke of the black dress
