A late Victorian 18ct gold Colombian emerald and diamond twin heart ring, circa 1895, each heart centrally set with a 0.5ct pear-cut diamond and a 0.55ct pear-cut emerald, surround by rose-cut diamonds surmounted by a diamond set ribbon bow, diamond colour approx G/H, clarity approx SI1/SI2, inside shank marked RJ 18, setting height 13.4mm, size Q, 5.8g No damage or repair, all stones present, the emerald is a vivid green with a very good colour saturation, very minor facet edge abrasions and typical internal inclusions, principal diamond is bright white and fiery with only a few tiny internal black spot inclusions only visible through a loupe, settings have very light wear, marks clear, engraved 18.
