A late Victorian 18ct gold Colombian emerald and diamond twin heart ring, circa 1895, each heart centrally set with a 0.5ct pear-cut diamond and a 0.55ct pear-cut emerald, surround by rose-cut diamonds surmounted by a diamond set ribbon bow, diamond colour approx G/H, clarity approx SI1/SI2, inside shank marked RJ 18, setting height 13.4mm, size Q, 5.8g No damage or repair, all stones present, the emerald is a vivid green with a very good colour saturation, very minor facet edge abrasions and typical internal inclusions, principal diamond is bright white and fiery with only a few tiny internal black spot inclusions only visible through a loupe, settings have very light wear, marks clear, engraved 18. Verbal report from GCS stating emerald is of Colombian origin with indications of minor clarity enhancement. (Further detailed images to be uploaded on Tuesday 17th October)
