A good quality example, one or two old marks and blemishes on the top. Ivory knobs and feet original and undamaged
A George III mahogany bow fronted chest of drawers, with moulded edge above four long graduated drawers with circular brass drop handles and backplates and raised on splayed bracket feet. Width 40 cm (see illustration). CONDITION REPORT: The chest is in generally extremely good condition. It is structurally sound. The top is flat. There is a small old veneer repair to the front right hand corned and some minor stress fractures in places. The moulded edge is in good condition all round. There are no splits to the sides. All drawer fronts are in good condition. Drawer 2 is missing the lock. The other locks are present but we have no keys. The handles appear to be original. The apron is in good order. All bracket feet are in good condition. The backboards are original. We can see no evidence of any woodworm.
An early 19th century mahogany satinwood banded bow fronted chest of drawers, two short and three long with brass drop handles with oval back plates and raised on splayed bracket feet. Width 113 cm, height 109 cm, depth 53 cm. CONDITION REPORT: The chest of drawers is structurally sound. The top is of good colour with no significant splits or marks. The left hand side of the satinwood banding has slight lifting in one place and there are some minor old stress fractures. The edge beading has minor losses to the returns. The drawer fronts are in generally good order. Long drawers two and three have cockbeading missing to the right hand sides. All locks are present. There are some minor timber losses to the left and right front facing side uprights particularly where the drawer runners join the carcass. This should be visible on our images. The sides of the chest are in generally good condition with the usual slight polish deterioration, minor scuffs and old stress fractures. The bracket feet are all present and original but do have some veneer nibbles particularly to the sharp edges. The handles are not original.

A modern crossbow together with two Armex UK bows CONDITION REPORTS Crossbow - the woodwork has dents and knocks / scratches conducive with use. There is some sign of rust to some of the metalwork particularly the trigger and top screw bolt and the sight. There appears to be a screw of some sort missing towards the front end of the bow and chips to the metal work. The plastic to the shoulder end is inscribed "MK" within a seal mark of bow and arrow and has some knocking and scratching. The trigger and release appear to work though not known if in full working order. Armex UK silver maple leaf decorated bow - not known if complete as it does appear some elements of the firing mechanism do not appear so. There are some signs of rusting to the nuts. I BIGWOOD "Young redhead girl in white shirt, a black bow in her hair seated by a window", portrait study, oil on board, signed and dated 1912 lower left, image approx 33.5 cm x 29.5 cm CONDITION REPORTS All over crazing. Appears to have had restoration to include some scratching, etc, especially to her dress. Appears to have been cleaned under UV. Areas of giltwood and gesso missing from the frame. Knocks, bumps, scrapes, etc. Also some areas of later applied varnish to the slip on the frame. Wear and tear conducive with age and use. See images for more details.

Otherwise condition with light wear to the gold conducive with age and use. Smaller cameo of Luna - condition appears good.Third cameo - later and lesser quality than the other two. A George III mahogany serpentine-fronted chest, the cross-banded top satinwood strung and with moulded edge over a fitted compartmentalised drawer with writing sufrace over three further long graduated drawers with brass swan-necked handles raised on bracket feet (96 cm W x 54 cm D x 84.5 cm H) CONDITION REPORTS Whilst basically sound, the piece has discolouration particularly to the top front left side. The top also has splits horizontally along the grain and some small areas of loss though the veneers appear to be in the drawer. There is also discolouration to the left hand side as the piece stood in a bedroom with a window facing this side. The right hand side has much better and more original colour though has a split vertically just behind the curved areat to the front pilaster. The front has again some discolouration to the left side and some areas of cracking to the banding and veneers that are loose or have come away and are in the top drawer. The right foot has a horizontal split visible along the front panel. The piece sits upon later modern castors. See image. The fitted drawer has replacement tooled and gilded writing surface and some splits along the grain to the writing surface. The interior sectional area is basic. The slightly bow fronted sliding cover may or may not be original. There is a key with the piece which fits and works - again, whether original is unknown. The other drawers all appear to work and are intact. See images for further details.
An 18th Century Bow chinoiserie design tea bowl and saucer, tea bowl 7.5 cm diameter, saucer 12.5 cm diameter CONDITION REPORTS Saucer - appears to be in good condition throughout with some minor firing faults to the glaze, particuarly to the underside. See image. Tea bowl - basically looks in good condition. Some wear to the enamel particularly to the bird which may or may not be part of the original design. Under UV light no damage or restoration can be seen.
A 19th Century mahogany bow fronted hanging corner cupboard of two doors, of small proportions, 38 cm wide x 54.5 cm high, together with a 1930's walnut cased two door display cabinet on cabriole legs, 130 cm high CONDITION REPORTS Corner cupboard only - there are splits throughout and one large predominant through the right hand door along with several on the mouldings. Knocks and bumps. An area of loss to the top right hand side of the cabinet. Possibly had replacement shelves or additional shelves added at some point. Lock mechanism working but the other catching side is not present. Wear and tear conducive with age and use including knocks, bumps and scrapes, etc. See images for more details.
