A 1796 pattern light cavalry trooper's sword, the 32" curved blade engraved 'Gill's Warranted' with wire bound leather grip, steel stirrup knuckle bow and turn down quillon, with double ring steel scabbard, overall length 98.5cm.Condition Report: Leather grips cracked and perished, very minor patches of surface pitting to knuckle guard. Blade has several nicks in cutting edge, blade and scabbard tarnished with a few minor patches of surface pitting, otherwise overall good condition. No jiggle on pommel, scabbard measures 86.5cm.
