A late 19th/early 20th century Chinese hardwood low table; the fielded panelled top rebating into sides and ends carved with sinuous dragons chasing the sacred pearl of wisdom amongst stylised clouds etc., the bow-fronted ends also carved with dragons amongst stylised clouds and terminating in scrolling feet (88cm wide x 40cm deep x 32.5cm high)The table is tight, the joints at the edge are coming away a little but this is because of the individual pieces of wood used. One of the legs has been broken and repaired at the bottom at above 3cm in, it looks like it has been off completely and then put back on crudely with a nail, this could probably be addressed. The table appears to be a good overall colour, some scratching and scuffing as commensurate with age. Otherwise in good overall condition.
