A 19th century French circular marble-topped occasional table; the pierced gilt-metal gallery surrounding geometric marble-inlaid top above two convex drawers and two brushing slides to the sides; raised on turned tapering fluted legs terminating in brass collars, 65cm diameter CONDITION REPORT: This has several pieces of the geometric decoration of marble cracked but this appears to work into the general decoration and although prevalent on close inspection all original pieces appear to be there except for a small 1cm section of the yellow coloured marble at the point end where it meets the pierced brass gallery. The rest of the table appears to be in reasonable order although one of the bow fronted drawers has a 1cm section on the left hand side next to it of the frieze which has been replaced and the convex frieze section above the left hand brushing slide has split vertically about 2cm. Also a horizontal scratch underneath this. The legs appear to be in good general order with no breakages or restoration noted although scratching and scuffing commensurate with age, one of the brass collars to the terminal of the legs has a small split to the top although the others appear in reasonable order. Two of the legs are angled slightly inwards.
