An early and important chamber barrel organ, by Cauderés of Bordeaux, France,Circa 1820-30, stamped to keyframe 324, with satinwood keyframe, 14-notes, three ranks of metal pipes, three stops, the three barrels playing ten airs each including polkas, quadrilles and waltzes as inscribed on tunesheet inside main lid, maker’s label with address, dual sprung bellows, barrel change door to left, air-change lever to right, in cleated and polished walnut cabinet with bow-fronted sliding panel to front, barrels within original pine carriage case – 19” wide, 28.1/2” high, the barrels 15” long, 4.3/4”dia.

Title are Rock 'N' Roll Suicide (LPBO 5021, A side is very clean Ex, B side is VG with a feelable scratch on roughly the last half of the track), Young Americans (RCA 2523 DJ - very clean Ex with only a couple of very minor surface marks), Heroes (PB 1121 - well presented Ex), Sound And Vision (PB 0905 - super Ex with one or two very light and faint marks on the flip), DJ (BOW 3 - VG A side with a light scratch/Ex+ B side/Ex original picture sleeve) and Space Oddity (RCA 2593 - Ex with a surface mark on the B side). All centres are fully intact.
A pair of Minton Pâte-sur-Pâte vases by Alboin Birks, late 19th/early 20th century, one decorated with a vignette depicting Venus and Cupid at an archery lesson, with a ribbon hung ivy strewn cluster of arrows, a bow and horn to verso. The other depicting winged angel with cupid firing bow with garland and heart & arrows to verso, both on a blue ground, gilded to the neck and rim and in good condition, height 19.5cm without wood bases.
