FIVE PIECES OF EARLY TO MID 19TH CENTURY WESLEY INTEREST POLYCHROME POTTERY, comprising a late Georgian creamware mug, printed and painted with Hope and Charity either side a portrait of John Wesley, with motto 'The Reward of the righteous is a Crown of Glory', height 6.5cm, three circular nursery plates with foliate relief moulded rims, the smallest printed and painted with 'THE REVEREND JOHN WESLEY' and 'Holy Bible', 13.5cm, the middle sized plate printed and painted with an oval medallion bust portrait and angel by a tomb, titled 'REV,D JOHN WESLEY', diameter 15.5cm and the largest printed and painted with Hope and Charity flanking a titled portrait of 'THE REVEREND JOHN WESLEY' and motto 'JEHOVAH reigns let Saints let Men adore', diameter 17.5cm and a relief moulded jug with 'REV. A Copeland parian bust of the Hop Queen, 19th century, modelled by Joseph Durham, impressed Ceramic and Crystal Palace Art Union Jan 1878 to the reverse, h.34cmThe socle is quite loose and has some small chips where it meets the bust.Some yellowish residue to the front of the bust, possibly glue or similar.Otherwise it appears in good order.
A late 19th century French gilt metal and enamel table snuff box, of canted rectangular form, the blue enamelled hinge cover inset with a bust portrait miniature watercolour on ivory, the case with acanthus leaf chased banded frieze, w.7.5cmIvory submission ref: 6N3CYTCE Enamel excellent but the glass above it is grubby.Hinge good.Miniature appears faded and a little grubby.Gilt metal all good with minor surface scuffs only.Lining to inside of cover is loose.

Powell Bart.' lower left, oil on canvas, 240 x 148cmFour patch repairs verso.Paint good and stable.Canvas has been varnished (probably in the last 20 years).Some craquelure all over but no breaking out.UV lamp shows numerous small areas of overpaint and touching-in all over; small area to cheek and three significant areas to the lower left corner.From top to bottom approx. ^2 in from the right hand edge is a line of overpainted small areas (each approx. 1” square or les) at approx. every 6 to 8”.Other than the cheek, no further evidence of overpaint to face, bust or arms aside from some very minor touching-in.Frame with original gilding, minor gesso losses in several places.

Yolk and published by Alva Studios, mounted on a circular plaster plinth, H33cm. The books comprising a copy of 'The Life of Abraham Lincoln' by Stefan Lorant and 'The Civil War as they Knew It' Condition Report: other than dust to hair and two extremely small areas of colour loss -(About 2-3 pin head and a pin head size) to there are no faults to report. no chips, cracks or restoration to the whole bust.otherwise an extremely nice thing. Etc., rev: Resolution Adventure above two ships at sea, Sailed From England March mdcclxxii in exergue.These medals were made for distribution to indigenous people by James Cook and his men of the ships 'Resolution' and 'Adventure' during the Second Voyage of 1772-75.

Pair of Cararra marble portrait busts of a lady and gentleman, 19th Century, both classically draped, on green serpentine marble socles, 45cm high (2)Condition Report: Female bust. Small chip to rear of her hair, a chip to rear edge under shoulder, approx. 10mm. The opposite side has some small nicks. There is a large chip to the rear of the plinth base, approx. 5cm by 3cm. There is a shallow chip to the front left edge, 20mm. Chip to rear right edge and other small nicks to edges.Male bust. Nick to lower area of the drapery at the front, 10mm chip. Left side has nibbles to the edge of the drapery. Minor nibbles to the rear edge. The lower square plinth is detached from the socle. The base has chips to its top and there is a 10mm chip to one side, one chip to the top edge of the socle, approx. 10mm. Most of the chips and nicks are to the plinths.
Hellraiser (1987 British Horror Film) - lifesize 1/1 scale resin bust of Pinhead. Complete with nails to head and painted detailed features. Believed to likely be a production made reference bust as was obtained from Image Animation based at Pinewood Studios shortly after production ended. Measures 44cm tall.
Only Fools & Horses (BBC Sitcom 1981-2003) - If They Could See Us Now (2001) - an original screen used prop 'Peckham Echo' newspaper. Printed on newspaper stock, the custom paper features the headline 'Local Millionaires Go Bust' and features an image of Del and Rodney to the cover. Signed by Sir David Jason (Del) in black ink to the front. Mounted alongside an autographed 8x10" photograph showing this newspaper in the episode. The photograph being signed by Roger Lloyd Pack, Roy Heather, John Challis, Paul Barber, Sue Holderness and Patrick Murray. Professionally framed and glazed. Total size: 82cm x 76cm. Supplied with a certificate of authenticity from the Only Fools And Horses Appreciation Society.
From The Estate Of Bill Owen (1914-1999) - a vintage 20th century ' life size ' composite bronze effect bust of Bill Owen. Mounted on a squared wooden base. Upon the bust is resting a pair of Owen's personally owned and worn spectacles, present in so many images found in his scrapbooks that appear as other lots in this auction.
